Xero vs Wave comparison cover

Xero and Wave both help small businesses send invoices, record expenses, organize bookkeeping and understand cash flow. But they are not identical accounting products. Xero is a broader financial operations platform, with connected bank reconciliation, supplier bills, reports, inventory tracking, purchase orders and higher-tier projects and multicurrency accounting. Wave is a free-first system designed around the financial basics that matter most to freelancers, sole proprietors and very small service companies.

The choice turns on business complexity, geography and volume. Wave Starter can create unlimited invoices, estimates, bills and bookkeeping records without a recurring software subscription. Xero Early costs money and caps the number of approved or sent invoices and bills. But Xero becomes more capable as workflows involve automated payables, staff, budgets, inventory, forecasting, many customers or international business operations. Wave Pro adds bank connections, receipt capture, categorization and stronger support, so choosing Wave does not necessarily mean using only free software.

There is a timely pricing issue: Xero increased its United States list rates effective October 1, 2026. The current nonpromotional charges are $27 Early, $59 Growing and $97 Established per month, not the $25, $55 and $90 amounts still repeated by older comparisons. Wave Starter remains free, while Wave Pro costs $19 monthly or $190 yearly for U.S. businesses. Temporary introductory discounts are not the correct basis for a multiyear purchasing decision.

There is also a geographic restriction buyers should check before evaluating features: Wave serves businesses based in the United States and Canada. Xero operates in additional markets with country-specific subscriptions and local rules. This analysis uses U.S. Xero prices and U.S. Wave prices in USD; Canadian Wave pricing is separately identified where relevant. Neither software automatically provides qualified tax or legal advice.

Quick verdict

Quick verdict

Choose Wave if your U.S. or Canadian business needs inexpensive double-entry bookkeeping, unlimited basic invoices and bills, estimates, simple reports and easy payment collection. Wave Starter is $0 and Wave Pro is $19/month or $190/year, adding auto-imported bank transactions, receipt capture, categorization, collaboration and reminders. Choose Xero if supplier bills, daily bank reconciliation, purchase orders, inventory, richer reports, accounting collaboration and a growth-oriented workflow outweigh the cost. Current U.S. Xero prices since October 1, 2026 are $27 Early, $59 Growing and $97 Established. Early permits only 20 invoices and five bills; Growing removes those volume caps, while Established adds native multicurrency accounting, projects and expenses. Xero wins breadth and scale; Wave wins low-cost fundamentals.

Pricing: Xero has a new October 2026 baseline

Xero announced a U.S. subscription increase effective October 1, 2026. Early rose from $25 to $27 per month, Growing from $55 to $59, and Established from $90 to $97. Those rates apply to new and existing U.S. subscriptions, before taxes and optional add-ons. Some promotional landing pages may still be indexed with the old prices and expired promotional terms, so verify the current standard-plan page.

At published regular prices, twelve months cost $324 for Early, $708 for Growing and $1,164 for Established before additional payroll, inventory, payment processing and any applicable sales taxes. Introductory discounts can lower the first few months, but they should be modeled separately from the recurring cost.

Unlike subscription-per-seat products, Xero states that its U.S. plan does not impose per-user license fees. That can be attractive to businesses with several authorized employees or external accountants, although permission roles and operational limits still need review.

Wave pricing: a genuine free plan plus Pro

Wave Starter is $0 and includes unlimited invoices, estimates, bills and core bookkeeping records. Businesses may apply to accept online payments, with processing fees calculated separately. That makes Wave unusually attractive when a new company needs usable accounting records but does not want a recurring accounting subscription.

Wave Pro is currently $19 USD monthly or $190 USD annually. Annual payment brings the effective subscription to about $15.83 per month, but that is not a month-to-month bill. The advertised price applies to new subscriptions; legacy customers can have different arrangements.

Canadian Wave Pro is separately advertised at $25 CAD monthly or $250 CAD annually. Do not translate the U.S. subscription into an assumed Canadian offer. Wave is purchased per business rather than per owner, so additional business profiles that need Pro require separate subscriptions.

Xero Early: inexpensive relative to Xero, not unlimited

Xero Early includes quotes, invoices, online payment options, bank reconciliation, basic reports, W-9 and 1099 management, sales-tax tools and smart document capture. Inventory, purchase-order and banking functions are available in the core product subject to plan and account configuration.

The key bottlenecks are twenty approved/sent invoices and five bills each month. A busy freelancer may cross twenty invoices sooner than expected; a trading or wholesale business could exceed five supplier bills quickly. Xero explicitly counts some partner-created invoices toward the invoice limit.

If the business already sends fifty invoices each month, Early is not a fair functional comparator against free Wave Starter. The realistic Xero option is Growing, at $59 per month.

Xero Growing: where the operational upgrade becomes clear

Growing removes the Early invoice/bill limits and expands bills payable, automated bill entry, bank reconciliation, cash-flow insights, customizable dashboards and budgeting assistance. It is a logical step for a company with routine supplier bills and an accountant closing the books regularly.

The plan provides a sixty-day cash-flow forecast and richer financial-health views under the current U.S. feature lineup. It also supports optional Inventory Plus and Xero Payroll powered by Gusto, neither of which should be counted as included at $59.

Growing costs substantially more than Wave Pro, but it may save time if payables, purchase orders, financial controls and inventory matter to the business. Compare a complete month-end process rather than only the number of invoices sent.

Xero Established: multicurrency, projects and expenses

Established adds multiple currencies, tracked project time and costs, employee expense and mileage claims, longer cash-flow forecasting and industry benchmarking to the Growing foundation. The U.S. pricing page currently advertises a 180-day forecast along with advanced KPIs and ratios.

For professional-services teams that bill by project or businesses buying and selling across currencies, this level may be easier to justify than it would be for a sole proprietor billing three domestic clients.

Do not confuse Xero Established multicurrency functionality with the mere ability to create an invoice denominated in a foreign currency. The wider financial reporting and conversion workflow is the meaningful differentiation.

Wave Starter: what is actually free?

Wave Starter covers bookkeeping records, chart-of-accounts organization, basic financial reports and creation of unlimited invoices, estimates and bills. A service business can bill clients without paying for subscription access.

The tradeoff is automation. Automatically imported bank transactions, automatic merging/categorization, included receipt capture and additional users generally belong to Pro or paid add-ons, with documented exceptions for eligible older accounts. Manual work can grow alongside transaction volume.

Starter is best when transaction volume is modest, the owner handles routine accounting or an adviser helps periodically. It should not be presented as if it includes every professional automation feature for free.

Wave Pro: bank data and efficiency

Wave Pro adds Plaid-backed bank transaction imports, automated transaction merging and categorization, unlimited digital receipt capture, automatic late-payment reminders, additional users and expanded support. It also provides richer control over invoice branding and messaging.

Connected banking depends on a supported financial institution. Wave openly says not all institutions are covered by Plaid, so a Pro subscriber should test each real bank and credit-card account before migrating.

Pro is a credible alternative to Xero Early for freelancers and microbusinesses, particularly when they send more than twenty invoices or handle more than five bills but still need uncomplicated bookkeeping.

Who wins on invoicing?

Wave wins for a new business whose primary need is sending professional invoices and tracking who has paid. The Starter plan offers unlimited invoices without a monthly platform charge. This is a substantial advantage against Xero Early and its twenty-invoice limit.

Xero is stronger when invoicing belongs to a broader accounting process: customer records, quotes, order and item workflows, multi-currency support on Established, reconciliations and more sophisticated reporting. Growing and Established do not retain the entry-level invoice limit.

Both can accept online payments subject to country availability, payment-provider approval and fees. A buyer should compare invoice layouts, partial payments, payment links, reminders and corrections using actual customer scenarios.

Invoice payments and merchant processing

Wave Starter card payments in the U.S. start at 2.9% plus $0.60 for Visa, Mastercard and Discover; American Express is listed at 3.4% plus $0.60. Bank payments are listed at 1% with a $1 minimum. Approval for processing is subject to the vendor’s risk and identity checks.

Wave Pro has a distinct discount that should not be overstated: the fixed $0.60 component is removed for the first ten cumulative card transactions per month; the percentage fee still applies, and later transactions revert to Starter-style pricing. It is not unlimited fee-free processing.

Xero provides online invoice payment integrations and bill payments, but provider-specific card or ACH fees depend on the selected payment service. Do not invent a single Xero processing price or assume the accounting subscription eliminates merchant fees.

A concrete Wave processing-fee example

Imagine a U.S. business processes ten $100 Visa or Mastercard transactions in a month. Wave Starter fees are ten times $3.50, or $35. Wave Pro fees on the same first ten qualifying transactions are ten times $2.90, or $29, saving $6 in fixed charges before the Pro subscription fee.

At that volume, the card fee reduction alone does not cover the $19 monthly Pro subscription. The Pro upgrade must earn its cost through bank imports, receipts, reminders, additional users or other features. Processing assumptions should include the actual card mix and any bank transactions.

If volume is higher than ten card transactions, the $0.60 fixed fee resumes for the rest of the month under the published Pro rule. Avoid multiplying the ten-transaction discount across all sales.

Bills and accounts payable: Xero wins for complexity

Wave records unlimited bills on Starter and Pro, making it suitable for tracking supplier invoices at a basic level without a subscription. An owner can see bills, record payments and reconcile the accounts manually when necessary.

Xero Growing and Established provide fuller bill entry automation, outstanding payable controls, payment workflows and stronger links to purchase orders and banking. The U.S. feature grid also advertises online domestic ACH bill payments with normal ACH included, while other payment methods can cost extra.

A business processing many suppliers, approvals, or purchasing cycles is likely to benefit from Xero. A freelancer paying a few routine expenses may not need that sophistication.

Bank feeds and reconciliation

Xero supports linked banks and routine reconciliation as a central accounting workflow, subject to bank availability, region and possible third-party fees. Growing and Established have broader auto-reconciliation capabilities under the current U.S. plan matrix.

Wave Pro offers automatic bank transaction imports, merging and categorization through Plaid. Starter generally requires more manual transaction entry or statement handling. Wave’s bank connection will not work equally with every financial institution.

Before purchasing either tool, connect a test bank account and verify whether imported amounts, transfer detection, merchant fees and duplicate handling match the books. A theoretical integration is not a substitute for a working bank feed.

Receipts and expense capture

Xero advertises smart document capture in its current U.S. plans. Its expense-claim and mileage management become more comprehensive on Established, while advanced inventory or payroll products cost extra.

Wave Pro includes unlimited receipt capture from mobile, desktop or email with automated recognition. Starter can purchase a receipts add-on; the public pricing table lists $11 monthly or $96 yearly for U.S. Starter, and a separate CAD charge in Canada.

A few paper receipts each week can be entered manually. Teams handling hundreds of expense images should evaluate recognition accuracy, rules, duplicates, attachment storage, reviewer permissions and any expense-approval requirements before comparing subscriptions.

Inventory and purchasing

Xero includes basic inventory tracking and purchase orders in its accounting feature set and offers Inventory Plus as an optional higher-powered product for multi-channel operations. A historical Xero add-on signup page lists Inventory Plus at $39 per month, but the current checkout should be used to confirm an accurate quote.

Wave can store products and services to speed up invoice entry, but that should not be equated with a full inventory control system tracking quantities, reorder status, purchasing and cost of goods sold across stock locations.

A reseller, distributor or product-based ecommerce operation should give Xero substantial weight and still verify whether its basic inventory tools are enough. A consultant who has no physical stock may not need inventory features at all.

Multicurrency: a critical nuance

Xero Established provides integrated multicurrency accounting for businesses that regularly buy, sell and report in different currencies. The other Xero U.S. tiers do not offer that same full plan capability.

Wave only supports businesses based in the United States or Canada and uses USD or CAD as the main business currency. However, its help center documents foreign-currency invoices and bills, foreign-currency bank accounts, exchange rates and realized exchange gains or losses. Saying Wave cannot issue a foreign-currency invoice would be false.

The proper distinction is breadth of integrated multi-currency operations, reporting and international business support. Businesses invoicing internationally should test the treatment of bank exchange charges, foreign receivables and tax reporting in both products.

Country eligibility changes the decision

Wave states that its subscriptions are only for U.S. and Canadian businesses. This means an eligible U.S. freelancer may love Wave Starter, but a business incorporated in India, Australia or the United Kingdom should not assume it can open the same accounting subscription.

Xero supports additional countries, but local product labels, payroll, sales tax, bank connections and plan prices differ by region. The Early/Growing/Established U.S. grid should never be copied as a universal Xero price list.

Eligibility should be checked before importing financial data. If the product cannot legally and operationally serve the business entity, features and headline savings are irrelevant.

Reporting and financial insight

Both platforms produce fundamental financial reports such as profit-and-loss and balance sheets to help business owners understand income, expenses and position. Wave is fully capable of double-entry bookkeeping rather than being merely an invoice designer.

Xero Growing adds dashboards, budgeting assistance, tailored financial-health scorecards and a longer cash forecast. Established adds more KPI and benchmarking tools, projects and the published 180-day forecast.

Wave keeps a more accessible dashboard for smaller organizations. It also offers transaction tagging for tracking clients, projects, locations or revenue streams. This is helpful context, although it does not automatically equal Xero Established’s tracked project costing.

Projects and profitability by job

Xero Established can track time and costs against jobs or projects and relate that activity to invoicing and profitability. That can help agencies, consultancies and contractors decide whether a client engagement is actually profitable.

Wave has transaction tags that can assign bookkeeping activity to projects and clients, as well as customer and invoice reports. But these are lighter reporting methods; they are not an exact substitute for a purpose-built project cost/time feature set.

For a company selling hours or fixed-price engagements, map a real project: subcontractor bills, labor, expenses, invoices and final margin. If a software cannot show the required margin without a spreadsheet, include that manual work in the cost assessment.

Payroll is an add-on in both products

Xero launched Xero Payroll powered by Gusto for U.S. small businesses in August 2026. The integration provides payroll capabilities from within Xero, but it is not included in the Early, Growing or Established subscription price. A current Xero add-on reference lists $36 per month plus $6 per employee or contractor, subject to eligibility and current offers.

Wave Payroll in the United States is also a separate service, with a published $40 monthly base fee, $6 per active employee per month and $6 per contractor paid. The Canadian offering has a different CAD base and regional availability rules.

Payroll also brings tax filings, state rules, benefits, contractor treatment and data security requirements. Compare the full payroll quote, geographic scope and available compliance services instead of treating a check mark on the accounting pricing table as free payroll.

A payroll cost illustration for five employees

Using the published U.S. list references, Xero Payroll powered by Gusto would be $36 base plus five times $6, or $66 per month before the Xero accounting subscription. Wave U.S. Payroll would be $40 base plus five times $6, or $70 per month before any paid Wave Pro subscription.

At Xero Growing, the accounting and payroll starting point would be approximately $125 per month under that assumption. Wave Starter plus Wave Payroll would start around $70, and Wave Pro plus Wave Payroll around $89 on monthly billing.

These figures are illustrations rather than guarantees; contractor charges, payroll offers, eligibility, taxes and other services can change the total. Wave pricing differs for Canadian businesses.

Multiple users and accountant collaboration

Xero emphasizes not charging a separate license fee for each invited user on its U.S. subscriptions. Businesses still need to control who can view reports, enter transactions, approve bills or change settings, but adding an accountant is not automatically another seat-based subscription.

Wave Pro includes adding users, while the current pricing grid generally excludes new extra-user access from Starter, with documented exceptions for grandfathered businesses. A growing team may therefore need Pro even when invoice volume alone does not justify upgrading.

Accounting access is a control decision. Ask an external accountant which ledger structure, permissions, exports and month-end workflow they prefer rather than choosing a product solely on the basis of total login count.

Apps and integrations

Xero has an established ecosystem of connected apps covering ecommerce, point of sale, payments, payroll, inventory, accounts payable and industry-specific operations. Using integrations can reduce duplicate entry but creates another set of fees and data-sync risks.

Wave provides third-party integrations and developer tools, and Pro specifically lists integrations as a benefit. Some workflows require external automation providers or custom connectors.

For a business that already depends on a niche industry app, test whether invoices, contacts, taxes and payments synchronize correctly. The number of listed integrations matters less than their quality and the actual permissions available on the subscribed plan.

Mobile invoicing and bookkeeping

Wave advertises mobile invoicing and a mobile app that can manage customers, invoices and activity. Its newer product documentation also describes accounting transactions and receipt workflows, with some features dependent on Pro or receipt subscriptions.

Xero provides mobile accounting access and receipt/expense functionality that can help users capture transactions while away from the office. The exact actions available on mobile vary by plan and role.

A field technician or freelancer should test issuing invoices, collecting payments and locating old client information from a phone. A business accountant may care more about desktop reconciliation and review tools.

Customer support and accountant assistance

Xero markets 24/7 online support and free setup help under its U.S. subscriptions. That is online support, not a promise that every plan offers a staffed phone hotline whenever requested.

Wave Pro provides live chat and email support during stated weekday Eastern hours. Starter may gain human support through paid add-ons. Wave Advisors also sells bookkeeping and coaching services separately.

Choose the package based on expected accounting assistance, response channels and year-end needs. A subscription without bookkeeping support may be inexpensive but still unsuitable if the owner needs hands-on monthly reconciliation.

Best fit for freelancers

A self-employed designer, tutor or consultant with a few dozen simple monthly transactions can get substantial value from Wave Starter. Unlimited invoices and estimates, simple reports and optional pay-as-you-go payments reduce fixed overhead.

Xero Early can also suit solo work, but it introduces a $27 subscription and a twenty-invoice limit. The investment may be justified if a bookkeeper insists on Xero or if the business expects to adopt purchase orders, inventory or integrated reporting soon.

When cost is a major constraint and the company is eligible for Wave, a free-first evaluation is sensible.

Best fit for growing service companies

A service firm with several people entering expenses, larger billing volume and clients requiring more accurate job costing should review Xero Growing or Established closely.

Wave Pro offers a lower monthly bill and supports bank imports, receipt capture and additional users, which may be enough for a smaller agency. But advanced budget, supplier, tracked projects and executive reporting can push the firm toward Xero.

The tipping point is when staff time spent manipulating spreadsheets or repairing the ledger exceeds the subscription savings. Model that time explicitly.

Best fit for retail and ecommerce sellers

Inventory is the deciding issue for product businesses. Xero has basic inventory features, purchase orders and an optional Inventory Plus upgrade for more specialized stock and sales-channel workflows.

Wave can store items and prices for invoicing, but a seller should not assume that equals stock movement, landed cost, reorder levels or purchase-order control.

For sellers with meaningful physical inventory, Xero is usually the stronger starting point. Verify any extra inventory connector cost before committing.

Best fit for international businesses

If the business entity is outside the United States or Canada, Wave may not be a valid option at all. Xero is available in additional markets with localized versions, making it more appropriate to investigate.

A U.S. or Canadian business with overseas customers may still send foreign-currency Wave invoices and record exchange differences. But Xero Established is the more expansive choice for recurring multi-currency financial operations.

Check the business location, base accounting currency, payment settlement fees, taxes and bank provider support first. Customer location alone does not determine eligibility.

Best fit for nonprofits and small community groups

Wave Starter may work for a small U.S. or Canadian nonprofit that wants a basic ledger and sends occasional invoices, while paid support or receipts can be added if needed.

An organization needing fund accounting, donor restrictions, grant-level reporting or nonprofit-specific tax workflows should not assume either general-purpose product covers those requirements out of the box.

Run a chart-of-accounts and reporting demonstration with its accountant before selecting a platform on the basis of free entry alone.

Five-year scalability considerations

A business that starts with five clients may grow to twenty employees, several managers, more suppliers and complicated financial controls. Migrating from a free accounting platform after several years can be costly.

Xero offers clearer steps toward more reporting, accounting workflows, projects and currencies within its tier structure. Wave allows a low-cost start and some upgrades to Pro, payroll and Advisors but has a narrower product scope.

Choose based on foreseeable complexity rather than theoretical enterprise ambitions. Paying for Established on day one is unnecessary if the business never needs its advanced features.

Potential hidden costs

Xero may add payroll fees, payment processing, premium inventory features and purchased app subscriptions. Xero’s October price increase demonstrates that recurring costs can change during ownership.

Wave may add Pro per business, payments, receipt capture on Starter, payroll and Advisors services. The reduced card fixed fee on Pro only applies to the first ten transactions monthly, not every processed sale.

Both tools also involve staff training, reconciliations, accountant time and data cleanup. These indirect costs should appear in a realistic total-cost calculation.

Annual cost scenario: simple invoices

For a U.S. freelancer without payroll and without any paid add-ons, Wave Starter costs $0 per year in base subscription fees. Xero Early would cost $324 annually at the new regular U.S. list rate.

That is not a comparison of equally unlimited accounting functionality. If the freelancer sends more than twenty invoices each month or handles more than five bills, Xero Early may not meet the requirements, whereas Wave Starter still supports unlimited basic documents.

Payment processing, professional bookkeeping help and labor are excluded from both simple base-subscription totals.

Annual cost scenario: automated bank imports

Wave Pro annually billed is $190 per U.S. business for the year, effectively around $15.83 per month. Xero Growing is $708 for a year at the regular monthly list rate.

The $518 base-price gap can be significant for a small firm. But Wave Pro and Xero Growing do not deliver identical supplier automation, inventory or reporting controls, so the business must determine whether those capabilities are needed.

Test automatic bank feed reliability and the time required for one normal month-end reconciliation in each platform. A price difference without a workflow comparison is incomplete.

Migration from Wave to Xero

Export Wave contacts, chart of accounts, transactions, opening balances, unpaid customer invoices, outstanding bills, sales taxes, receipt images and bank reconciliation state. Archive a copy of the old records in an accessible format.

Before import, decide which Xero plan can handle the actual invoice and bill volume. Map Wave tags and any tracked project labels to the intended Xero structure; currency and inventory migrations can require careful review.

Have an accountant reconcile opening balances, sales tax liabilities and receivables. Do not switch the live workflow during a close or payroll deadline without a tested rollback plan.

Migration from Xero to Wave

Export all necessary financial records and compare Xero features against Wave Starter and Pro before migrating. Pay special attention to purchase orders, inventory tracking, project time, multi-currency reports and payroll integrations that may not have direct equivalents.

If using Xero Established, assess whether Wave’s foreign-currency transaction handling provides sufficient accounting evidence and reporting for the same business requirements.

Rebuild one complete invoice-to-payment-to-reconciliation path in the new system before retiring Xero. Preserve attachments, bank statements, original invoices and audit history according to legal requirements.

Which should you choose?

Choose Xero if your business needs structured accounting processes with significant bills, financial dashboards, stock or purchase orders, international work or higher-level collaboration with accountants. For recurring invoice or bill volume, compare Growing and Established instead of assuming Early is sufficient. Read the Xero review, Xero pricing guide and Xero alternatives.

Choose Wave if you are an eligible U.S. or Canadian freelancer or small business and your main goal is accurate, low-cost basic bookkeeping, unlimited simple invoicing and expenses. Upgrade to Pro when banking, receipts and collaborators justify the recurring charge. Read the Wave review, Wave pricing guide and Wave alternatives.

The deciding exercise is a sample month: issue fifteen and thirty invoices, enter a dozen supplier bills, import bank transactions, capture receipts, pay workers if applicable, prepare a profit-and-loss report and check whether every document reconciles. If one tool completes these tasks correctly with less staff effort at an acceptable cost, that matters far more than the headline subscription alone.

Research methodology and editorial disclosures

Testing methodology

This comparison is based on official vendor price lists, product descriptions and help-center documentation as reviewed October 19, 2026; it is desk research, not a documented hands-on Toollers software test. The official Xero U.S. update confirms that Early, Growing and Established became $27, $59 and $97 monthly effective October 1, 2026, replacing outdated $25, $55 and $90 rates. Wave currently lists Starter Free, Pro $19 monthly or $190 annual in U.S., with payment processing charged separately. Wave serves U.S. and Canadian businesses, not worldwide. The article distinguishes foreign-currency invoices supported in Wave from the more integrated multicurrency accounting provided by Xero Established. U.S. payroll amounts are optional product fees, not bundled accounting features. Older Toollers Review data is research-only without evidence of real hands-on testing; no fabricated user experiences, benchmark scores or tests are claimed.

Does Wave support businesses outside the United States and Canada?
No. Wave says its subscriptions serve U.S. and Canadian businesses only. Xero supports other countries, but its plan pricing and local functions differ by market.
Can Wave invoice customers in another currency?
Yes. Wave supports foreign-currency invoices, records foreign-currency transactions and exchange gains or losses, although a Wave business must use a USD or CAD base currency. Xero Established provides broader integrated multicurrency accounting.
Which has cheaper payroll, Wave or Xero?
Both require paid payroll add-ons. Published U.S. examples are Wave Payroll $40/month plus $6 per employee and Xero Payroll powered by Gusto around $36/month plus $6 per paid employee or contractor. Plan eligibility, offers and other charges can change the real quote.
Is Wave Pro worth paying for?
Wave Pro can be worthwhile if automatically imported bank transactions, receipt capture, categorization, added users and reminders save enough time. Its reduced card processing fixed fee applies only to the first ten qualifying monthly card transactions, so that discount by itself may not cover $19/month.
