Cookie Policy

Your choices about cookies and optional analytics.

What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small pieces of data a website can store in your browser. Local storage is a separate browser feature used to remember a preference. This policy covers both technologies on Toollers, along with similar storage that may be used by configured third-party services.

Storage used by the site

  • Administrator session: toollers_admin_session keeps an authorized administrator signed in. It is an essential, HTTP-only cookie, set when an admin logs in and normally expires after seven days.
  • Interface preference: sidebar_state remembers the state of an administrative sidebar for up to seven days.
  • Analytics choice: analytics-consent is saved in this browser's local storage as “granted” or “denied” so the site remembers your choice. It is not an advertising cookie.
  • Optional analytics: if Toollers enables Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager and analytics consent is required, those scripts load only after you allow analytics. They may set or access additional identifiers according to their configuration.

Hosting and security services may also process technical request data. The exact third-party cookie set can change if site integrations are configured; we review this policy when that happens.

Your analytics choice

When the site's optional analytics feature is enabled with consent required, a visitor without a stored choice sees an Allow or Decline option. Declining keeps the Toollers analytics scripts from loading. You can change your choice using the controls below; the choice applies to this browser. Declining later also attempts to clear common Google Analytics cookies for the current domain, although cookies already set by another domain or service may require that provider's controls or your browser settings.

Browser controls

You can remove cookies and site data in your browser settings and block cookies where the browser permits. Deleting local storage will reset the analytics choice, so you may be asked again if optional analytics is enabled. Blocking essential storage can prevent administrator functions from working. You may also use the privacy controls of any external vendor you visit through a Toollers link.

Changes and questions

We may update this policy when our storage or analytics tools change. Check the date shown on the page for the latest version. For questions about cookies or privacy, email contact@toollers.com or read the Privacy Policy.
