Privacy Policy
How Toollers handles information you share and technical data from visits.
Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Toollers handles personal information when you visit toollers.com, submit a form, subscribe to a newsletter, or interact with links on the site. Toollers is the contact point for questions about information processed through this website. You can reach us at contact@toollers.com or through the contact page.
Information we receive
- Information you submit: contact form fields such as name, email address, subject, and message; newsletter email address and subscription status; and any information you choose to include in a message.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser or device user agent, request timing, security and audit records, and outbound CTA click information, including the clicked destination and associated product or article where available.
- Cookie and local storage information: an administrator session cookie and interface-preference cookie where applicable, a saved analytics choice in browser storage, and optional analytics identifiers if analytics is enabled and consented to.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information through a general contact form unless it is necessary for your request.
Why we use it
We use information to respond to inquiries, administer subscriptions, operate and secure the site, prevent spam and abuse, measure which software links readers use, maintain audit records, and improve content and functionality. Optional analytics, if enabled, helps us understand aggregate use of pages and site performance. We do not need you to accept optional analytics to use the public site.
Email and newsletter choices
If you subscribe, we store your email address, subscription source and time of signup so we can manage the subscription. If a newsletter service or automation webhook is configured, the address and subscription status may be sent to that provider to deliver messages. You can ask us to stop newsletter messages or remove your address by emailing contact@toollers.com. If an email includes an unsubscribe option, you can use that as well. A contact form message by itself is not a newsletter subscription.
Cookies, analytics, and links
Our Cookie Policy lists the types of storage used and explains how to change your analytics choice. The site's analytics integration is configurable; when optional analytics requires consent, its scripts load only after you allow them. If you follow a link to a software vendor, that site's own privacy practices apply. An affiliate link may also allow a vendor or affiliate network to attribute a referral; see the Affiliate Disclosure.
Who may receive information
Authorized Toollers personnel and service providers may access information needed to host the site, store records, send contact notifications, deliver a newsletter if configured, provide analytics if enabled, or protect the service. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a lawful request, or protect rights and safety. Service providers can operate in locations outside your country; the protections and requirements depend on the provider and applicable law.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including responding to requests, maintaining a subscription or record, resolving disputes, meeting legal obligations, and securing the site. Retention can vary by record type. We use access controls and technical safeguards, but no website or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can decline optional analytics, revisit your choice on the Cookie Policy page, and use browser controls for cookies. Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to request access, correction, deletion, or other controls over personal information. Email contact@toollers.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
Children and changes
Toollers is designed for people researching business software, not for children. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can review it. We may update this policy as our practices or the site change. We will post the revised text and update the date shown on this page.
