ACE Studio Pricing: Artist, Pro and Team Costs
Compare ACE Studio Artist and Pro annual prices, monthly Team seat fees, credit allowances, rent-to-own rules, refunds and true ownership costs.

ACE Studio's advertised individual Artist subscription costs $16.58 per month equivalent when billed annually, approximately $198.96 for the year before checkout rounding or taxes. Artist Pro is $22 per month equivalent, $264 annually. The separately documented Team plans publish true monthly per-seat billing as well as annual seat rates, starting at $29 per seat per month for Artist Team, subject to a three-seat minimum. The two-year rent-to-own promise applies to eligible individual plans, not team subscriptions. Here is how the pricing works and which costs a music-production business should verify before signing up.

The headline individual monthly figures are not evidence that the user can pay only $16.58 for a single month. Both price cards explicitly say billed yearly. The annual Artist figure is a mathematical approximation based on the displayed rounded monthly equivalent: 16.58 × 12 = 198.96. For Artist Pro, 22 × 12 = 264. Payment processors can present a slightly different total owing to price rounding and location-specific tax. Use the total shown in the authorized checkout as the purchase figure, not a multiplication as a guaranteed invoice.
Artist: the annual entry point for controllable AI vocals
The Artist individual plan provides the program's central music-production functions: over 160 pre-made singing voices, more than 40 virtual AI instruments, one voice-cloning slot for the vocal synthesizer, one voice-changing clone slot, and 2,500 monthly credits for defined generative operations. The vendor markets the use of the pre-made voices and instruments as unlimited in its feature table, subject to licensing restrictions. This means a purchaser should distinguish ordinary synth and instrument use from separate metered generation rather than interpreting an unlimited label as a blank check for every feature.
Artist may suit a songwriter who routinely edits MIDI-and-lyrics vocal demos but only needs a single approved custom singer identity. If you compose one lead singer at a time, adding Pro's extra fourteen custom slots may provide little value. Instead, identify how often you actually need generative music, video, audio enhancements and stem processing. If your normal month consumes considerably less than 2,500 credits, Artist offers the lower annual commitment under the current list price.
A new buyer should also budget editing time. The product does not make lyrics, music notation or rights clearance free. Someone must create MIDI, adjust vowels and phrasing, choose authorized voices, listen to rendered takes and prepare stems for a DAW. Those labor costs depend on skill and output volume; we do not assign invented hourly figures. The sensible pilot is one real brief using licensed content, documenting both processing credits and the human revisions needed to reach approval.
Artist Pro: more voice identities and twice the credits
Artist Pro's core pricing is $22 monthly equivalent under annual billing, a difference of $5.42 per month equivalent against Artist, or approximately $65.04 across the year before taxes and rounding. The public feature matrix lists five custom singer slots versus one and ten voice changer slots versus one. The monthly generative allocation doubles from 2,500 to 5,000. The pre-made singing voice and instrument libraries remain described as 160-plus and 40-plus for both tiers, so Pro's obvious upgrade value is custom-voice capacity and metered headroom rather than a larger stock library.
This can matter in a studio serving several retained clients, each of whom has approved an identifiable singer model. Separate voice slots may reduce the need to constantly retire and recreate custom models. However, having ten voice changer slots does not establish that every proposed sound is legally trainable or deployable. Permission from the voice talent is still essential, and the vendor's usage guideline imposes terms on the training service. Check what happens to a model if a client's contract ends or a person revokes a permission covered by a separate agreement.
For heavy generative usage, Pro's extra 2,500 credits can improve flexibility. There is no published universal equivalence of one credit to one second of music, one render or one completed video in the plan cards. Each feature may price actions differently. Instead of predicting a fixed number of songs, run a typical production brief, record charges for each kind of operation and estimate monthly repetitions. Ask support how top-ups, expiration and overage handling work if the project exceeds 5,000 credits; do not assume unused credits roll over.
Team pricing: published per-seat rates and the three-seat minimum
The official Team Plan FAQ is more specific than ACE Studio's short enterprise card. It lists Artist Team at $29/seat per month or $199/seat per year, and Artist Pro Team at $38.50/seat per month or $264/seat per year. The buyer must select at least three seats; the documented upper limit is 300. The owner manages seats and billing, is placed into one seat on creation unless removed, and can invite additional members. These plans offer month-to-month team billing, unlike the individual price cards that foreground an annual-equivalent amount.
Be precise about identity and credit accounting. ACE Studio distinguishes a user's Personal account identity from their Team identity. Credits, custom trained voices and subscription benefits in one identity do not automatically become available in the other. An engineer moving from a personal Artist subscription into a group cannot assume their trained personal singer clone appears in the team library or that unused personal credits transfer to a pooled team balance. Establish the correct storage and ownership model before recording irreplaceable authorized singer training data.
Team cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. According to the FAQ, trained custom voices under a team identity are locked after its benefits expire and may be accessed again when the subscription is restored; they are not simply deleted at cancellation. This is a notable dependency if a client requires future edits to delivered material. Document a robust export of completed audio, project ownership, talent permissions and alternate rendering procedures while the team account remains paid.
ACE Studio cost scenarios with the math shown
Scenario 1: a solo composer on Artist
At the displayed annual Artist equivalent, the approximate year-one subscription is $16.58 × 12 = $198.96. If the composer uses only built-in voice and instrument functions and stays inside applicable monthly generative credits, no extra usage charge is assumed in this example. It does not include tax, optional add-ons, a separately required third-party singer license or hired musicians. If the user relies on a particular licensed premium singer, obtaining that vendor-specific permission may dominate the simple software cost.
Scenario 2: a solo producer on Artist Pro
The same annual calculation is $22 × 12 = $264. The difference from nominal Artist annual cost is $65.04. The decision is whether five vocal-synth clone slots, ten voice-changer slots and 5,000 monthly credits are worth that increment. For a producer who keeps several authorized vocalist models active, the incremental charge may be easier to justify than continuously reorganizing a limited one-slot workspace. However, the published benefits do not promise unlimited cloning jobs or universal voice likeness rights.
Scenario 3: a three-seat team, paid monthly or annually
Three Artist Team seats paid monthly cost 3 × $29 = $87 for one month, or $1,044 if maintained for 12 monthly payments at an unchanged rate. Annual Team billing is 3 × $199 = $597 for a year; these amounts are not interchangeable cash-flow commitments. For Artist Pro Team, monthly is 3 × $38.50 = $115.50 per month, or $1,386 across 12 identical payments, while annual is 3 × $264 = $792 for the year. The annual Team options are significantly cheaper in this simple full-year comparison, but that assumes stable seat count and excludes taxes and any midyear adjustments.
Scenario 4: a five-person studio expanding its roster
At the same publicly documented Team rates, five Artist Team seats would be 5 × $29 = $145 monthly or 5 × $199 = $995 annually. Five Artist Pro Team seats would be 5 × $38.50 = $192.50 monthly or 5 × $264 = $1,320 annually. These are licensing-only scenarios, not quotations for onboarding, training or enterprise features. If two of the five users work only occasionally, ask whether empty seats can be reassigned and how billing proration works before signing a larger annual order.
Rent-to-own, lifetime access and one-time purchases
ACE Studio's Artist and Artist Pro subscription cards explicitly advertise rent-to-own after two years. Its updated lifetime FAQ defines a lifetime entitlement as 999 years of access to the chosen tier and says rent-to-own is calculated within the same membership tier. The one-time purchase guidance also describes ACE Studio 2.0 lifetime licenses outside mainland China, including updates within version 2. Because several paths to a lifetime license coexist, the exact offer, tier, region, version and historical payment continuity must be checked at checkout or with support.
A straightforward illustration—not a guaranteed individualized entitlement—is two qualifying years of annual Artist at today's nominal rate: 2 × $198.96 = about $397.92 before tax, assuming the displayed rate does not change and both years count. Artist Pro would be 2 × $264 = $528 under the same assumptions. These figures are examples of payments, not verified lifetime buyout quotations. Mid-term upgrades, interruptions, promotional pricing or region restrictions may change qualification. Obtain the written license language if the lifetime right is a material part of the business case.
Teams are excluded. The Team Plan help states clearly that its monthly and yearly subscriptions cannot earn rent-to-own and do not provide lifetime licenses. A three-seat studio planning to own the application permanently should not rely on the individual marketing banner to justify a team purchase. Furthermore, a lifetime tier right should not be read as unconditional entitlement to all future major versions, third-party rights or an infinite supply of every new generative feature. Ask the vendor to clarify these boundaries for the actual plan.
Free plan, money-back offer, refunds and cancellations
The vendor's public individual pricing cards promote a money-back guarantee but do not, in the accessed page, establish a permanent free account tier or a fixed no-card trial lasting a specific number of days. The guarantee should therefore be read with the applicable refund policy, not marketed as a free trial. We did not confirm the number of days, use limits, method or country eligibility for a guaranteed refund, and this guide does not promise one. If the refund matters, capture the exact terms and confirmation from ACE Studio before submitting payment.
Its pricing FAQ says users can cancel subscriptions at any time to prevent the next charge, but cancelling an annual plan does not automatically trigger a prorated refund for the current year. The help documentation also says custom trained voices tied to subscription slots may become locked after membership expiration. Ensure there is time to export project deliverables and retain consent records before a subscription lapses. Auto-renewal notices and an internal procurement calendar can prevent surprise renewals for an infrequently used production tool.
Extra costs remain dependent on usage and rights: generation top-ups if offered, optional premium voice licensing, tax, conversion charges from your payment provider, onboarding and storage of delivery assets. We did not verify standard numerical rates for credit overages or one-time lifetime purchases, so neither appears as an invented number. Music businesses should ask how generative credits reset or expire, whether paid top-ups survive cancellation, which audio workflows trigger credits and how team pooled allowances are calculated.
Commercial-use licensing is a potential hidden expense
The ACE Studio license page says most of its pre-made voices are royalty-free but names a subset requiring direct commercial licenses from their original providers. This is a licensing distinction, not merely a billing label. A marketing agency can pay for Artist Pro and still need separate permission if its chosen voice carries a third-party-license tag. The instrument library has its own royalty-free policy; generated sound effects through third-party services may carry additional provider terms. Record which exact voice, model and service each asset used.
Even a completely royalty-free built-in voice does not make unauthorized input material lawful. ACE Studio requires users to have appropriate rights to lyric text, reference audio, stems and other material. Custom-singer cloning adds permission from the recorded person. A cheaper software subscription cannot offset licensing risk on an advertising campaign. Use an approved voice directory and an asset-permissions spreadsheet so that a future editor can safely render revised deliverables for the client.
Which ACE Studio plan fits your operation?
Who should use this
- Solo producers needing one authorized custom singer and predictable annual software cost
- Composers with several consent-cleared vocal identities choosing Artist Pro
- Music studios with at least three active users who need centralized team billing
- Creative teams ready to audit credits and license each chosen voice
Who should avoid this
- Users expecting a permanent free plan or confirmed trial
- Teams expecting automatic lifetime ownership after two years
- Buyers seeking one single monthly individual payment at the annual-equivalent rate
- Agencies requiring blanket rights for every named singing voice without separate clearance
Pros
- Two clear individual annual tiers
- Relatively modest annual Artist-to-Pro difference
- Documented team monthly and annual per-seat options
- Transparent clone-slot and headline credit quantities
Cons
- Team minimum of three seats
- No Team lifetime path
- Annual individual cash commitment
- Some voice rights are separate
- Unknown standard top-up and one-time lifetime checkout amounts
For a single-person music shop, compare Artist and Pro based on the actual number of voice identities and the frequency of generative actions, not only the word Pro. For a business handling multiple singers, Pro's wider slot count can be operationally useful but requires more consent management. For three or more active colleagues, check the Team Plan; although it may resemble Artist in feature allowance, it adds distinct identity and ownership considerations. If your primary need is text-to-speech narration or one-click video soundtrack creation, comparing ElevenLabs and Tunee may help identify a more suitable buying model.
How we checked ACE Studio pricing
We reviewed the official ACE Studio pricing page, Team Plan support guide, lifetime-license FAQ, one-time license note, vocal licensing documentation and cancellation explanations on 2026-10-28 UTC. This was public desk research: no paid purchase, billing invoice, controlled credit-consumption test, checkout completion or confirmed regional refund authorization was available. Dollar values are vendor-displayed figures, and every worked calculation is labeled by its unit and commitment.
