ContentBot.ai Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits and Actual Costs
ContentBot.ai starts at $9/month, with $29 Premium, $49 Premium+ and $0.50 per 1,000 words prepaid. Compare limits, credits and refund terms.

ContentBot.ai currently offers four ways to buy generation capacity: Prepaid at $0.50 per 1,000 words, Starter at $9 per month for 50,000 words, Premium at $29 per month for 150,000 words and Premium+ at $49 per month for 400,000 words. The live vendor page is the controlling source for this guide because G2 still displays older $19, $59 and $99 subscription figures. There is no permanent free plan on the current pricing page, and a current annual price is not publicly displayed, although older vendor documentation refers to yearly subscriptions.
Quick verdict
Key takeaways
- Use Prepaid when usage is sporadic and you do not want a recurring plan
- Starter is the lowest-cost subscription but public pricing does not clearly expose every workflow/import cap
- Premium and Premium+ are more suitable for repeatable automation because they publish clearer workflow and import limits

Best for: Content marketers, SEO teams, agencies and founders that want AI-assisted blog production plus reusable workflows and bulk content automation rather than a simple single-prompt writing tool.
- Plagiarism checker
- Bulk Imports
- AI Workflows / Flows
- Human approval workflow
- AI Blog Writer v4
- The live vendor page currently starts at $9/month for 50,000 words and unlimited seats.

How ContentBot.ai pricing works
ContentBot uses word allowance as the core metering unit. Subscription plans provide a monthly word pool that refreshes on the first of each month. Prepaid purchases buy a one-time word balance instead. The value of each plan therefore depends not only on the final number of words you publish, but on how many generations, retries and checks are required to get there.
The live site lists unlimited seats across Prepaid, Starter, Premium and Premium+. That is important for agencies because the cost does not scale directly with each editor or writer seat. Instead, usage scales through the shared generation allowance and workflow/import limits.
ContentBot also meters some supporting tools through the same allowance. Its credit documentation says plagiarism checking consumes three words for every word checked. The “best of” option can also consume multiple generations while returning only the selected result. A team that checks and regenerates heavily can therefore consume credits much faster than its published article count suggests.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Prepaid | $0.50 per 1,000 words, once-off | Not publicly listed | 15,000 to 5,000,000 purchased words | Unlimited seats; first purchase advertises 10,000 free words |
| Starter | $9 per month | Not publicly listed | 50,000 words per month | Unlimited seats, Blog Writer v4, Workflows, Imports, AI Chat |
| Premium | $29 per month | Not publicly listed | 150,000 words per month | 3 AI Workflows, imports up to 50 rows, priority support |

Prepaid: $0.50 per 1,000 words
Prepaid is the best-defined non-subscription option. The current site allows one-time word purchases from 15,000 up to 5 million words and lists the price as $0.50 per 1,000 words. A 15,000-word purchase therefore corresponds to $7.50 at the published unit rate before taxes or any checkout adjustments. A 100,000-word purchase corresponds to $50.
The site also says the first prepaid purchase receives 10,000 free words. That bonus does not create a permanent free plan; it reduces the effective first-purchase cost. Prepaid currently lists unlimited seats, AI Blog Writer v4, AI Workflows, Imports, AI Chat, fast support, community access and the basic writing tools.
Starter: $9 per month
Starter includes 50,000 words per month and unlimited seats. The live page lists AI Blog Writer v4, AI Workflows, Imports, AI Chat, fast support and the basic writing tools. At the headline allowance, the nominal subscription cost is $0.18 per 1,000 included words. The page itself shows an approximate figure of $0.23 per 1,000 words, which does not mathematically match $9 divided by 50,000 words. Rather than reproduce that unit figure as authoritative, this guide uses the published plan price and allowance.
Starter is attractive for small teams, but the current public pricing extraction does not clearly expose a workflow count or import-row cap for this tier. Anyone buying Starter specifically for automation should confirm those limits inside the current account or with support.
Premium: $29 per month
Premium includes 150,000 words per month, unlimited seats, AI Blog Writer v4, three AI Workflows, Imports up to 50 rows, AI Chat and priority support. At the headline plan amount, $29 divided by 150,000 words is roughly $0.193 per 1,000 included words before considering retries, plagiarism checks or unused credits.
Premium is the first tier where the live page publishes a clear multi-workflow limit. It is therefore easier to budget for a small content operation that wants separate flows for different clients or output types. The 50-row import limit is also concrete enough for a small batch workflow but may be restrictive for large ecommerce catalogs.
Premium+: $49 per month
Premium+ includes 400,000 words per month, unlimited seats, unlimited AI Workflows, imports up to 500 rows, AI Chat and priority support. On simple allowance arithmetic, $49 divided by 400,000 is about $0.123 per 1,000 included words. The live page displays approximately $0.16 per 1,000 words, again indicating that its displayed unit-cost figure may use an internal assumption not obvious from the headline allowance.
Premium+ is the agency-oriented plan because workflow count is unlimited and import batches can reach 500 rows. A content agency managing several repeatable pipelines can therefore separate workflows by client, content type or publishing destination without the three-workflow cap shown on Premium.
True-cost scenarios
Scenario 1: a solo marketer producing 20,000 words in a month
Starter costs $9 and includes 50,000 words, so the team has enough headline capacity. Prepaid at the published $0.50 per 1,000 words would cost $10 for 20,000 purchased words. On pure generation price, Starter is slightly cheaper for that month, provided the recurring subscription is acceptable and the user will continue to need the product.
Scenario 2: irregular use with 100,000 words once per quarter
Prepaid would cost $50 for 100,000 words at the current unit rate. Three months of Premium would cost $87 even if the team used the product only once in that quarter. That makes Prepaid potentially more efficient for bursty projects, assuming purchased words do not carry an expiration or other checkout condition that changes the calculation.
Scenario 3: agency generating 300,000 words every month
Premium's 150,000-word allowance is not enough without additional capacity. Premium+ includes 400,000 words for $49 per month and also removes the three-workflow limit while raising imports to 500 rows. If the agency genuinely uses 300,000 words every month, Premium+ is the more natural subscription tier.
Scenario 4: heavy plagiarism checking
Suppose a team generates 30,000 words and then checks all 30,000 through ContentBot's plagiarism tool. The documentation says each checked word consumes three words of allowance, so plagiarism checking alone would consume 90,000 words. The combined workflow would therefore exceed Starter's 50,000-word pool and would use 120,000 words before any retries. Premium's 150,000-word allowance would be a safer fit for that usage pattern.
Annual billing and free-trial status
The current live pricing section prominently publishes monthly prices but does not show current annual totals or annual-equivalent rates. ContentBot's older Terms page refers to annual subscriptions, while the November 2024 refund documentation refers to both monthly and yearly plans. Because a current annual amount was not visible in the live pricing section, we do not calculate or invent an annual discount.
A current universal free trial was also not verified. Older product pages and Terms mention trial offers, but those references are not sufficient to state that every new buyer can start a trial today. The current pricing page instead highlights Prepaid and paid monthly subscriptions. The 10,000 free words on the first prepaid purchase are a purchase bonus, not a trial or free plan.
Refunds and cancellation
The most current refund-specific documentation we found was updated November 4, 2024. It states that monthly and yearly subscription plans have a seven-day money-back guarantee when the customer has not used more than 15% of allocated credits. Refund requests are directed to ContentBot support.
The older Terms page differs: it describes a ten-calendar-day initial-purchase refund window and says annual subscriptions are recurring and non-refundable after that initial window. Because the documents are not synchronized, buyers should save the checkout terms and confirmation that apply at the time of purchase.
Taxes and currency
The older Terms page says fees and applicable taxes are payable in U.S. dollars. The current homepage also presents dollar-denominated pricing. It does not provide a comprehensive current regional-tax table in the public pricing section we reviewed, so international buyers should confirm taxes and local payment treatment at checkout.
Which ContentBot plan fits which buyer?
Who should use this
- Prepaid fits irregular or project-based users that prefer one-time word purchases
- Starter fits small teams with modest monthly generation needs and simple automation
- Premium fits regular content teams that need three defined workflows and 50-row imports
- Premium+ fits agencies or high-volume teams that need 400,000 words, unlimited workflows and 500-row imports
Who should avoid this
- Starter is a poor fit when bulk-import or workflow limits are mission-critical but not clearly visible in public plan details
- Subscription plans are poor value if usage is highly sporadic and Prepaid covers the requirement
- Heavy plagiarism checking can consume credits quickly and may require a higher tier than final published word volume suggests
- Buyers needing a guaranteed annual discount should not assume one because a current annual price was not published
Pricing pros and cons
Pros
- Starter begins at only $9 per month for 50,000 words
- Unlimited seats reduce per-user cost for agencies and teams
- Prepaid at $0.50 per 1,000 words gives non-recurring flexibility
- Premium+ publishes large workflow and import capacity at $49 per month
- Main subscription prices and word allowances are easy to find on the live site
Cons
- No permanent free plan is listed
- Current annual price is not publicly shown
- Built-in plagiarism checking consumes three times the checked word count
- Vendor's displayed per-1,000-word approximations do not cleanly match simple plan-price arithmetic
- Refund documentation and older Terms use different guarantee windows
Value compared with alternatives
Rytr currently offers a permanent Free plan, an Unlimited plan at a $7.50 monthly equivalent on annual billing and Premium at $24.16 monthly equivalent annually. It is a simpler direct writing alternative with a lower barrier to casual use, but ContentBot has a stronger emphasis on automation flows, imports and publishing.
MarketMuse has a permanent Free tier but its paid value proposition is very different: content inventories, tracked topics, briefs, topic modeling and SEO research rather than low-cost bulk generation. Gamma also has a Free plan and is strongest for visual presentations, documents and webpages. GoZen offers a free starter suite across multiple growth tools, but paid budgeting is fragmented across its modules.

Pricing methodology and unresolved points
We checked the current ContentBot homepage/pricing section, credit documentation, refund policy and Terms of Service on October 2, 2026. The official live price is used over G2's older pricing metadata. We did not complete a private checkout transaction, so taxes, any unadvertised annual option and exact Starter workflow/import entitlements remain points to verify before purchase.
The key discrepancy is not ambiguous: the live official site currently says $9/$29/$49, while G2's pricing table says $19/$59/$99. That third-party page identifies older pricing metadata, so it is not used for current numeric figures. A second discrepancy exists between the 7-day guarantee in 2024 refund documentation and the 10-day language in 2021 Terms.
