HiBob Pricing 2026: Core, Modules, Payroll & Contract Costs
HiBob uses custom per-employee pricing with Bob Core plus optional modules. Compare payroll, performance, planning, implementation and renewal costs.

HiBob pricing is fully customized. The vendor does not publish a universal monthly or annual list price for Bob Core or add-on modules. Instead, the current pricing flow asks for company size, desired capabilities and contact details so HiBob can prepare a tailored proposal.

How HiBob calculates pricing
HiBob says pricing is typically based on the number of employees and the modules a customer needs. Implementation or support requirements can also affect the final quote.
The current pricing page asks buyers to select company size bands and use cases such as Performance, Learning, Engagement, Payroll, Hiring, Planning, Bob AI and Compensation before the sales team prepares a proposal.
Bob Core pricing
Bob Core is included in every HiBob subscription, but HiBob does not publish a numeric Core rate.
Core currently includes Bob AI Companion, employee database, document management, time off, lifecycle workflows, integrations, analytics/reporting and mobile access.
Performance pricing
Performance is an optional module area that can add reviews, goals, one-on-ones, feedback and performance workflows.
Because no numeric rate is public, buyers should ask whether the Performance module is priced for every active employee or only a subset of users in the Order Form.
Compensation pricing
Compensation capabilities can add salary review cycles, compensation bands, budgeting and reward workflows.
Organizations should compare the HiBob compensation module against any existing standalone compensation tool and calculate whether consolidation reduces total software cost.
Workforce Planning pricing
Workforce Planning connects headcount, organizational plans and budget-related workforce decisions.
This can be especially valuable for companies where finance and HR currently maintain separate hiring spreadsheets, but it also increases the module footprint and subscription cost.
Learning pricing
Learning is available as an additional capability for employee training and upskilling.
Buyers should clarify whether learning content, compliance courses or third-party content licenses are included in the quote or carry additional costs.
Hiring pricing
HiBob can add recruiting and hiring workflows. The current quote request explicitly lists Hiring as an optional need.
Companies already using Greenhouse, Teamtailor or another ATS should compare the cost of replacing the ATS versus keeping it connected through HiBob's integrations.
Payroll pricing
HiBob supports payroll worldwide and currently documents native payroll in the US and UK. Payroll Hub and integrations support other payroll models and regions.
No universal payroll list price is currently published. Payroll cost therefore needs to be requested region by region, especially for multinational organizations.
Time and attendance pricing
Time and Attendance is another module area. It supports attendance, timesheets and workforce tracking that can feed payroll processes.
Hourly employers should ask whether all employees are billed for the module or only workers who require time tracking.
Bob AI pricing
The pricing page lists Bob AI Companion as part of Core and also asks buyers whether Bob AI is a priority during the quote process.
Because AI capabilities can change quickly, buyers should ask which AI features are included in Core, which require add-on products and whether usage limits or separate commercial terms apply.
Integrations pricing
HiBob currently advertises more than 100 integrations and includes integrations as part of Core positioning.
External applications still carry their own subscription costs. Some integrations may also require specific HiBob modules or partner services, so the integration line should be separated from third-party software cost.
API and webhooks
HiBob provides a public HR API and webhooks for employee, time-off, task, document and workforce-planning events.
Custom integrations require development resources even if API access itself is part of the platform. Companies should budget internal engineering or integration-partner effort where necessary.
Implementation cost
HiBob's FAQ says implementation and onboarding support help configure the platform around organizational structure, workflows and priorities, with mid-market companies sometimes going live in weeks.
The exact implementation price is not public. Buyers should ask whether data migration, workflow configuration, payroll setup, integration configuration and admin training are included or separately billed.
Support cost
HiBob's pricing FAQ says support needs can influence the quote.
That makes it important to identify the support tier, response expectations, implementation coverage and any premium-service costs before comparing HiBob with products that bundle support differently.
Regional pricing
HiBob states that pricing can vary slightly by region because of local requirements and support needs, while the overall pricing structure remains consistent.
Global companies should therefore request one consolidated commercial proposal plus a country-by-country breakdown for payroll and region-specific services.
No free plan
HiBob does not currently advertise a permanent free plan.
That puts it at a disadvantage for very small organizations compared with HR systems that offer a free edition.
No standard self-service trial
Capterra currently lists HiBob's free trial as unavailable. The buying process focuses on a demo and custom commercial proposal.
Buyers should make the demo operational: ask the sales team to show one real onboarding workflow, a report, a compensation cycle and the exact integrations required.
Annual renewal
HiBob's January 2026 Customer Subscription Terms state that the initial and subsequent terms automatically renew for 12 months.
HiBob must provide renewal notice at least 45 days before the renewal date, and the customer must give non-renewal notice no later than 30 days before the renewal date.
Refund policy
HiBob's current terms state that fees are generally non-refundable and payment obligations are non-cancellable.
An exception applies when the customer terminates for cause because of an uncured material breach by HiBob; prepaid unused amounts can then be refunded pro rata.
Minimum subscription
HiBob's subscription terms tie fees to the number of Authorized Users identified in the Order Form and can include a minimum subscription commitment.
Buyers should confirm the minimum employee count used for billing and how headcount reductions affect fees during the term.
50-employee budgeting example
Because HiBob publishes no numeric PEPM rate, a reliable 50-employee estimate cannot be calculated publicly.
The correct approach is to request a 50-employee Core-only quote, then separate quotes for Performance, Compensation, Payroll and any other required modules. This creates a comparable per-employee total without inventing a price.
200-employee budgeting example
The same principle applies at 200 employees. Rather than applying an unofficial internet estimate, buyers should request current pricing for actual modules and planned headcount.
This is especially important because implementation, regional payroll and support requirements can change the effective cost per employee.
Total cost of ownership
A HiBob quote should be compared against the tools it can replace: HRIS, performance, engagement, compensation, workforce planning, payroll connectivity and possibly recruiting or learning.
A higher subscription can still be economical if it removes several standalone tools and reduces manual data reconciliation.
Who should use this
- Bob Core for companies needing modern HRIS and analytics
- Performance/Engagement modules for structured talent programs
- Compensation/Planning modules for strategic HR and finance teams
- Payroll/Time modules for connected workforce operations
- API/webhooks for companies with custom integration needs
Who should avoid this
- HiBob if public pricing is mandatory before a sales call
- Broad module bundles when the company only needs basic HR
- Annual commitments if procurement cannot manage renewal deadlines
- Payroll adoption without validating exact country coverage

Pricing methodology
Toollers rechecked HiBob's pricing page, FAQ and January 2026 subscription terms on October 9, 2026. HiBob still publishes no universal numeric list price, confirms general per-employee pricing and states that every subscription includes Core HR.

Procurement checklist
Ask the sales team to separate Core, each optional module, implementation, premium support, payroll-region fees and integration services. Confirm the minimum billable employee count, annual uplift language and the exact renewal-notice date.
Do not rely on third-party price estimates when HiBob itself does not publish a universal list price.
Quote comparison checklist
When comparing HiBob with another HCM vendor, normalize every quote to the same employee count, countries, modules, implementation scope, support level and contract term. Ask each vendor to show one-time fees separately from recurring subscription fees.
Also identify which third-party systems remain necessary after implementation. A lower HR subscription can still create a higher total stack cost if separate payroll, recruiting, learning, compensation or analytics tools remain in place.
