GoZen vs Moosend comparison cover

GoZen and Moosend overlap in email marketing, automation, ecommerce campaigns, signup forms, segmentation and analytics, but they are not the same type of product. GoZen is a modular growth ecosystem whose GoZen Growth product combines permission-based email marketing with cold outreach, email warm-up, lead finding, push notifications and sales automation. Moosend is a more focused email-marketing and marketing-automation platform built around subscriber lists, campaigns, landing pages, forms, automated journeys, reporting and optional transactional/enterprise services.

That difference explains the pricing gap. GoZen's free Zen Suite gives teams starter access across multiple GoZen products, but paid expansion is modular rather than one subscription. GoZen Growth itself currently has Free, $59 Starter, $99 Essential, $215 Premium and $412 Pro plans. Moosend Pro starts at only $9 per month on monthly billing or about $7 per month equivalent annually for the entry subscriber tier, and includes unlimited standard campaign sends while pricing scales mainly with unique active subscribers.

For a company that simply needs newsletters, lifecycle automation, landing pages, forms and ecommerce email at a low cost, Moosend is the cleaner choice. For a sales/marketing team that wants newsletters and cold outreach in one environment—with unlimited connected email accounts, warm-up, multiple sending domains, lead finder, push notifications and outreach-oriented automation—GoZen Growth covers a much broader job.

The main GoZen caveat is commercial complexity. The wider GoZen portfolio includes Growth, Engage, Forms, Notify, Content.AI, DeepAgent and other products, and each module can have its own limits and price. There is no reliable single paid Zen Suite price. Buyers should therefore compare the exact GoZen modules they intend to use rather than comparing Moosend Pro against the free umbrella bundle.

Quick verdict

Quick verdict

Choose Moosend if your primary need is conventional email marketing: newsletters, subscriber segmentation, landing pages, signup forms, ecommerce automations, A/B testing, analytics and low-cost unlimited campaign sending. Pro starts at $9/month or $7 annual-equivalent and is easier to budget. Choose GoZen if email is part of a broader outbound growth workflow. GoZen Growth adds cold outreach, unlimited email accounts, email warm-up, lead finder, multiple sending domains, push notifications, SMTP-based sending and outreach-oriented automations, while the wider GoZen ecosystem adds forms, interactive lead generation, content, AI agents and support/sales products. Moosend is the stronger email specialist; GoZen is the broader growth stack.

Key takeaways

  • GoZen's Zen Suite has a free starter bundle, but there is no single reliable paid Zen Suite price because paid products are modular.
  • GoZen Growth currently costs Free, $59 Starter, $99 Essential, $215 Premium and $412 Pro per month.
  • GoZen Growth Free includes 200 uploaded contacts, 1,000 monthly platform emails, one sending domain, signup forms, unlimited connected email accounts/warm-up and up to two automated journeys.
  • Moosend has no permanent free plan; it offers a 30-day no-card trial, while Pro starts at $9 monthly or $7 annual-equivalent for the entry subscriber tier.
  • Moosend Pro includes unlimited standard campaigns/sends, automation, segmentation, landing pages, forms, analytics and API access; pricing rises with unique active subscribers.
  • GoZen Growth is the stronger cold-outreach option because it explicitly supports warm-up, sender accounts/domains, lead finding, SMTP and smart outreach sequences.
  • Moosend is stronger for email-first marketing operations, landing pages, subscriber billing transparency, pay-as-you-go credits and documented enterprise security.
  • Moosend+ can add transactional email, dedicated IP, SSO/SAML, custom reports, Audience Discovery and extra team members; GoZen advanced needs are spread across Growth tiers and separate GoZen modules.

The biggest difference: growth stack versus email specialist

GoZen is not one application in the conventional sense. It is a family of products for marketing, sales, support and ecommerce. GoZen Growth is the product most directly comparable with Moosend, but even Growth intentionally straddles two normally separate software categories: permission-based email marketing and cold sales outreach.

Growth includes drag-and-drop email creation, signup forms, segmentation, automated journeys, ecommerce flows and analytics. It also includes unlimited connected email accounts, email warm-up, sending domains, lead finding, SMTP-based sending, cold outreach sequences and push notifications.

Moosend is narrower and more coherent. Lists, subscriber data, email campaigns, marketing automation, landing pages, forms, ecommerce tracking and reports are the core operating model. A marketer does not need to think about separate outbound identities, lead databases or warm-up pools.

This makes Moosend easier for a normal marketing department. It also means Moosend will not replace a cold-email sales platform. GoZen has the opposite tradeoff: it can replace more tools, but teams have to manage more modules, limits and use cases.

Pricing: Moosend is dramatically cheaper for conventional email marketing

Moosend Pro currently starts at $9 per month for the entry subscriber tier or $7 per month equivalent when paid annually. The vendor advertises 15% savings for biannual billing and 20% for annual billing.

Pro pricing scales with the number of unique active subscribers. The same email address appearing in more than one list is counted once. Standard campaign sends are unlimited under the subscription as long as the account remains within its subscriber tier and acceptable-use rules.

GoZen Growth Starter costs $59 per month. It supports 1,400 uploaded contacts, 7,000 monthly platform emails, five sending domains, 5,000 push notifications, 5,000 emails sent through the user's SMTP, two role-based access slots and up to five automated customer journeys.

That is more than six times Moosend's entry monthly price, but it is not six times “email marketing.” GoZen is bundling infrastructure for cold outreach and sales prospecting that Moosend does not attempt to provide.

If you already use another tool for cold outreach and only need subscriber email marketing, Moosend is usually the better value. If GoZen replaces a newsletter tool, a cold-email platform, a warm-up tool, push notifications and a lead-finder subscription, its higher Growth price can make sense.

GoZen Growth Free vs Moosend's free trial

GoZen Growth has a permanent Free tier rather than only a time-limited trial. The current official Growth page lists 200 uploaded contacts, 1,000 monthly platform emails, unlimited email accounts, unlimited email warm-up, one sending domain, 1,000 push notifications, 1,000 SMTP-sent emails, prebuilt email templates, signup forms, one role-based access slot and up to two automated customer journeys.

The wider GoZen homepage also offers a free Zen Suite containing starter versions of GoZen products with no credit card required.

Moosend instead gives new users a 30-day trial with no card. The current pricing material allows teams to test core campaign, automation, segmentation, landing-page and form functionality. Toollers' latest pricing research records up to 1,000 contacts and unlimited sends during the trial.

GoZen is better for a tiny team that wants to stay free indefinitely at very low email volume or test multiple GoZen modules. Moosend's trial is better for testing a more realistic subscriber database and normal campaign workflow before committing to a low-cost paid plan.

GoZen Growth Starter: $59 per month

Starter is the first practical GoZen Growth paid tier. The current official page lists 1,400 uploaded contacts and 7,000 monthly platform emails. It also includes unlimited connected email accounts and email warm-up, five sending domains, 5,000 push notifications, 5,000 emails sent through the user's SMTP, four-plus integrations, branding removal and up to five automated journeys.

For a newsletter-only buyer, those 1,400 contacts and 7,000 platform emails look expensive beside Moosend. For an outbound sales team, the pricing needs to be compared with several tools: cold outreach, warm-up, multiple mailboxes/domains, prospect data and push notifications.

Starter is therefore not the plan I would recommend to a basic content newsletter. It is a plan for a small growth or outbound team that intends to use the breadth.

GoZen Growth Essential: $99 per month

Essential is the most interesting GoZen tier for larger databases because the capacity jumps sharply. The current page lists 35,000 uploaded contacts and 140,000 platform emails per month, ten sending domains, 10,000 push notifications, 10,000 SMTP-sent emails, full reporting and analytics, four role-based access slots and up to ten automated journeys.

The jump from 1,400 contacts on Starter to 35,000 on Essential is unusually large. A team with 15,000 to 30,000 contacts may therefore find Essential more competitive than comparing the $99 price with a small-list Moosend plan.

However, GoZen's monthly-email cap still matters. Moosend Pro emphasizes unlimited normal campaign sends and primarily charges by active subscribers. Heavy weekly or daily newsletter programs should compare actual monthly volume, not contact count alone.

GoZen Growth Premium and Pro

Premium costs $215 per month and currently supports 140,000 uploaded contacts, 700,000 monthly platform emails, unlimited push notifications, fifteen sending domains, 25,000 SMTP-sent emails, four onboarding sessions, four role slots and up to fifteen automated journeys.

Pro costs $412 per month and supports 280,000 uploaded contacts, 1.4 million monthly platform emails, twenty-five sending domains, 50,000 SMTP-sent emails, six onboarding sessions, six role slots, twenty journeys and priority/dedicated support.

At these volumes, pricing is only one part of the buying decision. Deliverability architecture, opt-in policies, domain strategy, access controls, support quality, API/integration maturity and security requirements become much more important.

Businesses moving hundreds of thousands of contacts should run a controlled production pilot before transferring sending reputation or critical lifecycle automations.

GoZen annual billing has a wording inconsistency

The current GoZen Growth pricing page says yearly plans receive “20% Off” and also says customers “Only pay for 10 months.” Those statements do not produce the same arithmetic.

Paying ten months for twelve months of access is a 16.67% reduction from twelve monthly payments, not 20%.

This article therefore does not invent annual-equivalent prices for GoZen Growth. Buyers should verify the exact amount shown at checkout and preserve the renewal terms before paying annually.

Moosend is clearer: its current pricing page advertises 15% savings on biannual billing and 20% on annual billing.

Moosend Pro: simple subscriber-based pricing

Moosend Pro starts at $9 monthly or $7 annual-equivalent at the entry contact tier. The price increases as unique active subscriber count increases.

Pro includes unlimited standard email campaigns and sends, the campaign builder, automation workflows, segmentation, landing pages, subscription forms, reporting/analytics and API access.

The contact-based model is easy to understand for a permission-based newsletter or lifecycle program. If a subscriber is in several lists, the same email address is still billed as one unique active subscriber.

The main drawback is that a growing audience increases the subscription price even if send frequency stays low. GoZen Growth instead uses a matrix of contact and email limits, which can be better or worse depending on list size and send frequency.

Moosend prepaid credits: a unique advantage for seasonal senders

Moosend offers prepaid email credits separately from subscriptions. Current public packs include 350,000 credits for $350, 500,000 for $500, 750,000 for $750 and one million credits for $1,000.

One credit equals one email sent to one recipient, and purchased credits do not expire under the current plan.

This is valuable for event companies, seasonal ecommerce, annual associations or businesses that send a few large campaigns but do not need continuous automations.

GoZen Growth has no equally simple non-expiring pay-as-you-go email-credit model on its current core pricing page.

Email campaign creation: both are capable

GoZen Growth includes a drag-and-drop builder, prebuilt templates, generative AI assistance, smart campaigns and industry-oriented email templates. Current documentation describes more than 600 goal-based templates across industries.

Moosend includes a drag-and-drop email editor, templates, personalization, campaign reporting and AI-assisted copy generation. Its AI Writer can generate or refine subject lines, email body copy, landing-page copy and subscription-form copy.

For everyday newsletter creation, the products are closer than the broader comparison suggests. Both can create professional branded campaigns without code.

Moosend's advantage is that nearly every part of the product is optimized around subscriber marketing. GoZen's advantage is that the same writing workflow sits beside cold outreach, warm-up and sales prospecting.

Cold outreach: GoZen wins decisively

GoZen Growth explicitly markets cold email outreach as a core product category. It supports multiple connected sender accounts, smart drip sequences, reply-aware outreach, sending domains, a lead finder and email-account warm-up.

The Lead Finder can filter prospects by attributes such as job title, industry, country, location, employee count, revenue, department, management level, company and technology, then reveal contacts for campaign lists according to product limits and applicable laws/policies.

Moosend is an email-marketing platform for subscribers and customer journeys, not a specialist cold-sales prospecting platform. It does not provide an equivalent built-in B2B lead finder or outbound mailbox/warm-up workflow.

Do not use that difference as permission to spam. Cold outreach laws, consent requirements, vendor acceptable-use rules and mailbox-provider policies differ by jurisdiction and channel. A business should validate its legal basis and sending practices before importing or contacting prospects.

Email warm-up: a GoZen-specific capability

GoZen Growth's warm-up system connects opted-in user mailboxes and simulates email activity between accounts, including opens and moving messages out of spam, with the goal of establishing sender reputation before cold campaigns.

The current pricing page lists unlimited email warm-up across GoZen Growth plans, including Free.

This is a meaningful differentiator if a team repeatedly launches outbound mailboxes. It has little value to a conventional permission-based newsletter team that already sends from an established marketing domain through a specialist email platform.

Warm-up should also be evaluated against current Google/Microsoft policies and your compliance approach. Vendor claims about deliverability are not guarantees that every campaign will reach the inbox.

Marketing automation: Moosend has the email-specialist advantage

GoZen Growth has a visual automation system with customer journeys and prebuilt flows. Official ecommerce examples include abandoned cart, welcome series, win-back, order follow-up, thank-you and cross-sell workflows.

Plan limits cap automated journeys: up to two on Free, five Starter, ten Essential, fifteen Premium and twenty Pro.

Moosend Pro includes a full marketing automation workflow builder with prebuilt recipes, multi-step workflows and triggers based on campaign or website/ecommerce behavior. Current pricing documentation does not impose the same small fixed journey-count progression as GoZen Growth's public table.

For continuous lifecycle marketing—welcome, lead nurture, re-engagement, purchase behavior, content campaigns and segmentation—Moosend is the cleaner automation platform.

For workflows that bridge lifecycle marketing with cold prospecting, multiple sender accounts and push notifications, GoZen is broader.

Ecommerce automation: both are credible

GoZen Growth has dedicated ecommerce automation material for Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce. Current vendor examples include abandoned carts, welcome journeys, win-back campaigns, first-purchase upsells, order follow-ups, thank-you messages and cross-sell recommendations.

Moosend integrates with ecommerce systems including WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart, CS-Cart and others. Its automation/tracking features can react to product views, cart behavior and purchases, while AI-powered product recommendations are available within the broader feature set.

GoZen has an advantage if push notifications and broader GoZen ecommerce/support products are part of the strategy. Moosend has an advantage when ecommerce email should remain inside a mature email-marketing platform with landing pages, segmentation and reporting.

Shopify merchants should verify the exact current integration path on each product because GoZen Growth has a direct Shopify presence while Moosend's integration directory emphasizes a different mix of ecommerce connectors and Zapier/API options.

Push notifications: GoZen wins

Push notifications are built directly into GoZen Growth plan allowances. Free includes 1,000 push notifications, Starter 5,000, Essential 10,000 and Premium/Pro currently list unlimited push notifications.

This makes GoZen a true multi-channel tool even before considering separate GoZen Notify.

Moosend's core platform is email-centric. Push is not one of the primary native channels in the current Pro comparison.

If your customer journey depends on web push plus email, GoZen can reduce the need for a separate push platform.

Landing pages: Moosend wins

Moosend has a dedicated native landing-page builder with responsive templates, drag-and-drop editing, AI Writer support, built-in forms, countdown timers, GDPR-oriented opt-ins, analytics and custom-domain/WordPress publishing workflows.

Landing pages are part of the normal Moosend marketing system rather than a separate product purchase.

GoZen Growth is stronger around signup forms and outbound email. The broader GoZen ecosystem has multiple lead-generation products, including GoZen Forms and GoZen Engage, but that modular architecture is not the same as one clearly packaged Growth landing-page feature.

For a marketer building a simple acquisition funnel of landing page → form → segment → email automation, Moosend is more straightforward.

Forms: different strengths

GoZen Growth includes signup forms, and GoZen also sells a dedicated Forms product with forms, surveys, quizzes, polls, logic and integrations.

This means the GoZen ecosystem can go much deeper into first-party data collection than a basic newsletter form—if the business adopts the separate Forms module and its own pricing/limits.

Moosend includes subscription forms inside the email-marketing product. Forms are designed to grow email lists and feed subscribers directly into segmentation and automation.

Choose Moosend if forms primarily exist to collect email subscribers. Choose the GoZen ecosystem if forms/surveys themselves are a major workflow and the business is willing to manage another module.

Transactional email: Moosend has the clearer enterprise path

Moosend supports transactional email through SMTP and API, but the current pricing page positions it as a Moosend+ add-on or Enterprise capability rather than standard Pro functionality.

This is appropriate for order confirmations, password resets and other event-driven messages that may have different throughput and delivery requirements from campaigns.

GoZen Growth supports SMTP-based sending and connected email accounts, but current public Growth packaging does not present a directly equivalent specialist transactional-email product with the same clear Enterprise/add-on positioning.

If transactional messaging is mission-critical, request a written architecture and SLA from either vendor rather than assuming standard campaign sending covers it.

Segmentation and audience data

GoZen Growth supports advanced filters and segmentation for campaigns and outreach. Lead Finder adds a prospect-data dimension that normal marketing-email platforms do not have.

Moosend's audience management is more mature around subscriber marketing. Lists, segments, custom fields, tags and behavioral data feed campaign personalization and automated workflows.

Moosend+ can add Audience Discovery, an AI-powered audience-analysis capability intended to reveal behavior/preferences and improve targeting.

GoZen is stronger for sales-prospect selection. Moosend is stronger for permission-based subscriber segmentation.

AI: GoZen has broader ecosystem breadth; Moosend is more focused

GoZen Growth includes generative AI assistance for email creation, while the broader GoZen portfolio includes Content.AI and AI-agent products such as DeepAgent.

This gives GoZen the broader AI story across marketing, sales, content and support. The tradeoff is that capabilities and pricing can live in separate modules.

Moosend's AI is embedded directly in email marketing. AI Writer can generate subject lines, body copy, landing pages and forms. Audience Discovery and AI-powered product recommendations add intelligence to segmentation and ecommerce marketing on applicable configurations.

Choose GoZen if you want multiple AI-enabled growth products from one vendor. Choose Moosend if you want AI to improve a focused email-marketing workflow without expanding into a suite.

Integrations: Moosend is more transparent; GoZen is broader across its ecosystem

GoZen currently says its product family has 60+ direct software integrations. Toollers has verified module-level examples such as Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Pabbly, Zapier and webhooks.

The important caveat is “product family.” A GoZen integration that exists for one module should not automatically be assumed to exist at the same tier in GoZen Growth.

Moosend's current integration directory explicitly lists more than 80 integrations, including native connectors and Zapier-connected options. Current integrations include ecommerce, CRM, CMS, lead generation, validation and API connectivity.

Moosend also provides API access and SMTP Server capability under its plan structure.

Moosend has the clearer specialist-email integration catalog. GoZen can connect a wider range of growth workflows when several GoZen modules are adopted.

Team access

GoZen Growth's current plan table uses role-based access slots: one on Free, two Starter, four Essential/Premium and six Pro.

Moosend's current plan comparison shows two team members during trial and five on Pro, with additional team members available through Moosend+ and larger Enterprise configurations.

A team with many marketers may therefore reach GoZen's access limits before reaching email-volume limits. Moosend Pro provides a more generous entry collaboration model for a standard marketing team.

Reporting and analytics

GoZen Growth Free/Starter list limited reporting, while Essential and higher list full reporting and analytics. Campaign dashboards track opens, clicks and related performance, and ecommerce automation material highlights conversion/revenue tracking.

Moosend Pro includes real-time reporting, opens/clicks, bounces/unsubscribes/complaints, product views/carts/purchases, device/geography reporting, heatmaps, spam analysis/testing, Google Analytics tracking and A/B testing.

Custom reports are available through Moosend+ or higher enterprise configurations.

For a normal marketing team, Moosend gives a clearer analytics progression. GoZen's analytics become more compelling when the same team also uses outbound and other GoZen growth workflows.

Security and enterprise trust: Moosend has the stronger documented posture

Moosend has a public Trust Center that documents ISO 27001, annual third-party audits, PCI Security Standards Council alignment, encryption at rest and in transit, EU-based AWS contact-data hosting, penetration testing and privacy/GDPR controls.

Moosend+ and Enterprise can also provide SSO/SAML, dedicated IPs, SLAs and enterprise services depending on the configuration.

GoZen publishes privacy and data-processing information, and current Toollers research has verified GDPR roles, DPA terms, standard contractual clauses and Google Workspace API data-use language. However, Toollers did not verify an independent application-level security certification comparable to Moosend's public ISO 27001 evidence.

A larger organization with formal procurement/security review should therefore give Moosend an advantage unless GoZen can provide current private security documentation during sales evaluation.

Deliverability: avoid simplistic promises

Deliverability depends on domain reputation, authentication, list quality, complaint rates, sending patterns, content, mailbox-provider rules and the sender's history. No software can honestly guarantee inbox placement for every campaign.

GoZen Growth focuses heavily on cold-outreach deliverability through warm-up, multiple mailboxes/domains and drip sequencing. Those tools are useful for outbound teams, but they should be operated conservatively and in line with Google/Microsoft policies and applicable law.

Moosend's deliverability story is more traditional ESP infrastructure. It participates in industry programs, publishes security/trust information and offers dedicated IP and deliverability/strategy optimization through higher-tier configurations.

For permission-based email marketing, Moosend's model is easier to govern. For cold outbound, GoZen has the specialized toolset.

Moosend is designed primarily for contacts who are part of a permission-based marketing database. Subscription forms, unsubscribe management and audience segmentation fit standard email-marketing operations.

GoZen Growth spans both permission-based marketing and cold outreach, which creates a wider range of compliance responsibilities. A workflow that is acceptable for an opted-in newsletter list may not be appropriate for scraped or purchased prospect data.

GoZen's current terms prohibit spam and purchased/rented lists according to Toollers' pricing research, so outbound teams should verify the vendor's exact acceptable-use rules before building a prospecting process.

Neither product removes the sender's legal obligations under CAN-SPAM, GDPR/ePrivacy, PECR or other applicable laws.

Which is better for newsletters?

Moosend wins. The starting price is dramatically lower, Pro supports unlimited campaign sends, subscriber billing is straightforward and the platform includes landing pages, forms, segmentation, analytics and automation without asking the marketer to understand sales-outreach infrastructure.

GoZen can absolutely send newsletters, but paying $59 Starter primarily for newsletters is difficult to justify unless the team also uses cold outreach, warm-up, lead finder or push.

Which is better for cold email outreach?

GoZen wins decisively. It was explicitly designed to combine regular email marketing with cold outbound.

Unlimited connected email accounts, email warm-up, Unibox, Lead Finder, multiple sending domains and automated outreach journeys are capabilities Moosend does not attempt to match.

Use them responsibly. Cold email should be targeted, relevant and compliant, not an excuse for high-volume unsolicited spam.

Which is better for ecommerce?

The answer depends on channel strategy. Moosend is stronger if ecommerce means customer lifecycle email—welcome, cart abandonment, recommendations, segmentation, landing pages and post-purchase journeys.

GoZen is stronger if ecommerce marketing also includes push notifications, broader GoZen lead-generation tools, sales outreach and AI/support modules.

A Shopify merchant should also consider that GoZen Growth has a direct Shopify app/distribution path, while Moosend's current published ecommerce directory is especially explicit about WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart and other integrations.

Which is better for seasonal senders?

Moosend has the clear commercial advantage because prepaid credits do not expire. A retailer that sends four major campaigns a year can buy credits and avoid keeping a subscription active between campaigns.

GoZen is structured around monthly Growth tiers and module subscriptions rather than a comparable non-expiring email-credit model.

Which is better for agencies?

Moosend is usually easier for an agency doing permission-based email marketing because pricing, campaign workflow and client requirements are predictable, although agencies should confirm account/workspace separation and collaborator limits.

GoZen can be more valuable for an agency offering both outbound lead generation and email marketing because Growth combines those jobs and the broader suite adds forms, interactive content and AI-agent products.

The downside is billing complexity. Agencies should document which GoZen modules belong to each client rather than treating the Zen Suite as one price.

Which is better for sales teams?

GoZen is the stronger fit. Moosend is a marketing platform; GoZen Growth's lead finder, cold outreach, warm-up, sender domains and sales automation align more directly with sales-development workflows.

A sales team that only needs automated customer nurturing after leads enter a CRM may prefer Moosend plus its CRM/integration stack. A team responsible for identifying and contacting cold prospects is more likely to benefit from GoZen Growth.

Which is easier to budget?

Moosend wins. Start with subscriber count, choose monthly/biannual/annual billing and add enterprise options only when needed.

GoZen Growth itself has a clear tier table, but the umbrella GoZen comparison is more complicated because Forms, Engage, Notify, Content.AI and other products may each require a separate plan.

GoZen's annual Growth wording also needs checkout verification because “20% off” and “pay for 10 months” are mathematically inconsistent.

Which is better for larger organizations?

Moosend has the stronger procurement story because Enterprise/Moosend+ can add SSO/SAML, dedicated IPs, account management, custom reports, SLA options and deliverability support, backed by a public Trust Center and ISO 27001.

GoZen Pro provides higher volume, more domains, priority/dedicated support and onboarding, and the wider ecosystem can consolidate several applications.

Large organizations should still request GoZen's current security documentation, data architecture, SLA, subprocessor information and account-governance model before standardizing on the suite.

GoZen limitations

Pros

  • GoZen strengths: free Zen Suite
  • GoZen Growth combines newsletter marketing and cold outreach
  • unlimited connected email accounts/warm-up
  • lead finder
  • multiple sending domains
  • signup forms
  • push notifications
  • ecommerce journeys
  • generative AI
  • wider portfolio of forms, engagement, content, support and AI-agent products
  • 60+ claimed direct integrations across the ecosystem.

Cons

  • GoZen limitations: no single paid Zen Suite price
  • module limits/pricing are fragmented
  • Growth Starter is expensive for newsletter-only use
  • automated journeys are capped by tier
  • annual discount wording is inconsistent
  • role/user limits are relatively low
  • security certification evidence is less mature publicly than Moosend
  • support/reliability feedback in current module reviews is mixed.

The biggest GoZen mistake is comparing its free Zen Suite to a specialist paid email platform and assuming the entire paid suite remains one bundle. It does not. Build a bill of materials for Growth, Forms, Engage and any other modules the business actually needs.

Moosend limitations

Pros

  • Moosend strengths: low $9 monthly/$7 annual-equivalent Pro entry
  • unlimited campaign sends
  • clear contact-based billing
  • landing pages and forms included
  • strong multi-step automation
  • AI Writer
  • ecommerce tracking
  • A/B testing and detailed analytics
  • 80+ integrations
  • non-expiring prepaid credits
  • public ISO 27001/security documentation
  • configurable Moosend+ and Enterprise path.

Cons

  • Moosend limitations: no permanent Free plan
  • costs rise with unique active subscribers
  • cold outreach/warm-up/lead finding are not core capabilities
  • transactional email, dedicated IP, SSO/SAML and some enterprise features require custom configuration
  • paid fees are generally non-refundable under current terms
  • additional-team-member pricing is not fully public.

The biggest Moosend mistake is buying it for a sales-prospecting problem. Moosend can nurture leads extremely well after they enter a permission-based database, but it is not trying to be a cold-email prospecting and warm-up platform.

Which should you choose?

Choose GoZen if your team wants marketing and outbound sales to overlap. GoZen Growth is best when cold outreach, multiple sender accounts, warm-up, lead finding, email marketing, push notifications and customer journeys belong in one workflow. The wider GoZen ecosystem becomes more compelling if you also need forms, interactive lead generation, content, AI agents or support tools. Price each module separately before standardizing. See the GoZen review, GoZen pricing guide, and GoZen alternatives.

Choose Moosend if email marketing itself is the job. It is especially strong for newsletters, SMB lifecycle automation, ecommerce customer journeys, list growth, landing pages and seasonal campaigns. Pro's low entry price and unlimited sends make it difficult for a broader suite to beat on email-only value, while Moosend+ and Enterprise create a reasonable upgrade path for transactional email, SSO, dedicated IPs and custom services. See the Moosend review, Moosend pricing guide, and Moosend alternatives.

If the decision remains close, run the same two-week pilot. Build one newsletter, one five-step nurture journey, one ecommerce cart-recovery flow, one signup form and one audience segment in both products. Then add a cold-prospect campaign and a landing page. The point where one platform requires another product will make the tradeoff obvious: Moosend should prove its email-specialist efficiency, while GoZen should prove that its extra outreach and growth modules actually replace enough tools to justify the higher price.

How we compared GoZen and Moosend

Testing methodology

This is a research-based comparison, not a hands-on deliverability benchmark. Toollers reviewed current official GoZen Growth, GoZen ecosystem and Moosend pricing/product documentation on October 17, 2026. We compared permanent-free/trial access, contacts, monthly email capacity, campaign sending, cold outreach, warm-up, lead finding, marketing automation, ecommerce workflows, push, forms, landing pages, AI, integrations, analytics, team access, transactional email, security and enterprise options. We did not send the same campaign through both platforms, benchmark inbox placement, scrape cold leads, conduct a security audit or test support response times. Deliverability varies by sender reputation, authentication, content, complaints, list quality, mailbox-provider policy and sending behavior, so vendor claims should not be interpreted as guaranteed inbox placement.

Frequently asked questions

Is GoZen or Moosend better for email marketing?
Moosend is usually better for conventional permission-based email marketing because it is cheaper, has clear subscriber-based pricing, unlimited standard campaign sends, landing pages, forms, mature automation and strong reporting. GoZen is better when email marketing must share one workflow with cold outreach, warm-up, lead finding, multiple sender domains and push notifications.
Which is cheaper, GoZen or Moosend?
Moosend is much cheaper for a conventional email program. Pro starts at $9 per month or about $7 per month on annual billing. GoZen Growth Starter starts at $59 per month. GoZen's higher price can make sense when it replaces separate cold-email, warm-up, lead-finder and push-notification tools.
Does GoZen have a free plan?
Yes. GoZen advertises a free Zen Suite containing starter versions of its products, and GoZen Growth has a permanent Free plan with 200 uploaded contacts, 1,000 monthly platform emails, one sending domain, signup forms, unlimited connected email accounts/warm-up and up to two automated journeys.
Does Moosend have a free plan?
Moosend does not currently advertise a permanent Free plan. It provides a 30-day no-credit-card trial for evaluating core campaigns, automation, segmentation, forms and landing pages. After the trial, users can buy a Pro subscription or prepaid email credits.
Which is better for cold email, GoZen or Moosend?
GoZen Growth is clearly better for cold outreach because it has built-in email warm-up, multiple connected sender accounts, sending domains, Lead Finder, smart sequences and outreach-oriented workflows. Moosend is built for subscriber email marketing and lifecycle automation rather than cold sales prospecting.
