ClickUp Pricing 2026: Free, Unlimited, Business & AI
ClickUp pricing starts free, then Unlimited at $7/user annually and Business at $12. Compare AI add-ons, billing roles, refunds and Enterprise.

ClickUp pricing in 2026 is attractive at the core work-management level but more nuanced once AI and billing roles are included. The standard public plans remain Free Forever, Unlimited at $10 monthly or $7 yearly per user, Business at $19/$12 and Enterprise at custom pricing. Separately, ClickUp sells AI products such as Brain AI and Everything AI, while a limited number of workspaces are seeing newer upgrade packages that include more AI directly.

Free Forever
Free Forever includes unlimited tasks and unlimited free-plan members. It also includes 60 MB storage, two-factor authentication, collaborative Docs, Kanban boards, sprint management, Calendar, basic custom-field management, in-app recording, 24/7 support and one Form.
The plan is particularly useful for evaluation because it does not force teams to reduce membership just to test collaboration. Its bigger constraints are storage and advanced-feature usage limits.
Unlimited: $10 monthly or $7 yearly
Unlimited is the main value tier. It costs $10 per user per month billed monthly or $7 billed yearly.
It adds unlimited Spaces, Folders, Forms, Gantt charts, integrations, storage and custom fields. Native time tracking, goals and portfolio management, guest permission control, resource management, ClickUp Chat and Email in ClickUp are also included.
For many teams, Unlimited can replace multiple point solutions and still cost less than a higher-tier competitor.
Business: $19 monthly or $12 yearly
Business costs $19 per user monthly or $12 billed yearly. It adds unlimited advanced dashboards, unlimited message history, unlimited activity and Timeline views, webhooks, automation integrations, 5,000 automations per month, mind mapping, private Whiteboards, custom exporting, sprint reporting, portfolio workload management, Google SSO, SMS 2FA and unlimited proofing.
The upgrade is therefore about operational scale, reporting and identity rather than basic task management.
Enterprise
Enterprise uses custom pricing. It adds enterprise permissions/governance, unlimited custom roles, SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning, audit logs, session management, Enterprise API, custom branding, HIPAA/BAA availability, regional data residency and customer success.
Current public pricing lists 250,000 automations per month on Enterprise, a large jump over Business.
How paid users are billed
ClickUp currently charges subscription fees for owners, admins, members, limited members and permission-controlled guests. Teams should not assume every external collaborator is non-billable.
When a paid user is added during a billing cycle, ClickUp says it bills a prorated amount based on the time remaining in the cycle.
Annual versus monthly economics
Unlimited drops from $10 to $7 per user per month on annual billing. Business drops from $19 to $12. For 10 users, annual-equivalent cost is roughly $70/month for Unlimited and $120/month for Business, versus $100 and $190 on monthly billing.
At 50 users, annual-equivalent list cost is roughly $350/month for Unlimited and $600/month for Business before taxes, AI products or negotiated terms.
Brain AI pricing
ClickUp current AI pricing page shows Brain AI at $9 per user per month on the displayed yearly offer and Everything AI at $28 per user per month.
Brain AI includes assistant functionality, standard models and expanded premium-model usage. Everything AI adds a broader agentic suite and additional AI capabilities.
ClickUp also sells AI Super Credits, currently shown at $10 for 10,000 credits, plus options such as Talk to Text and AI Notetaker.
AI packaging transition
ClickUp help center explicitly says some workspaces see a new set of plans that include more AI directly. These plans are rolling out gradually.
Existing plan and price do not automatically change. Only upgrade options shown to the workspace can differ.
This explains why two current ClickUp accounts may see different AI packaging. The account Plans page is the best final reference for that customer.
30-day satisfaction guarantee
ClickUp current Terms include a Satisfaction Guarantee for customers buying services for the first time or purchasing new products. Eligible buyers can contact ClickUp within 30 days for a refund.
The Terms include important exclusions: services purchased through or with assistance from a ClickUp sales representative or reseller, renewals or expansions, and certain purchases after a pilot or trial may not qualify.
The Help Center summarizes the standard self-serve policy as a full refund within 30 days of a first paid-plan purchase.
Auto-renewal and annual cancellation
Subscriptions auto-renew by default. ClickUp current Terms state that annual-plan customers must provide notice of downgrades or cancellations at least 30 days before renewal or the service can renew for another 12-month term.
Renewal ownership should therefore be assigned to a finance or workspace administrator, especially for larger annual accounts.
Taxes and add-ons
Taxes can be added where required. AI products, extra automation capacity, specialist support and other add-ons can appear separately on the invoice.
The total ClickUp budget can therefore be materially greater than the core seat price if AI or support services are widely deployed.
How to budget for a growing team
Model work-management seats first, then add likely AI adoption. A 25-person team on Unlimited at annual list price is roughly $175 per month before tax and AI. Business is roughly $300 per month.
If all 25 users also need a $9-per-user Brain AI package, that adds roughly $225 per month at the displayed annual AI rate. This is why the attractive core seat price should not be treated as the entire software budget.
Which plan should you choose?
Free Forever is ideal for learning ClickUp and lightweight teams. Unlimited is the best value for most small and midsize teams.
Business is worth it when dashboards, workload, webhooks, proofing, SSO or automation scale are operational needs. Enterprise is for formal identity/governance, audit, data residency, HIPAA/BAA and very high automation capacity.
Who should use this
- Free Forever for evaluation and lightweight teams
- Unlimited for most small/midsize project teams
- Business for operational reporting, workload, SSO and automation
- Enterprise for large organizations needing governance, audit, SAML/SCIM and data residency
Who should avoid this
- Buyers expecting every AI feature inside the base seat price
- Teams that do not want plan/AI packaging to evolve during rollout
- Organizations that cannot manage member/guest billing roles carefully
- Very simple teams that would not use ClickUp broad feature set

Cost of AI adoption at scale
AI can materially change the ClickUp budget. If a 50-person team uses Unlimited at the annual list rate, the base cost is about $350 per month. Adding a $9-per-user Brain AI package for every user would add about $450 per month at the displayed annual AI rate, making AI more expensive than the base work-management subscription.
This does not mean AI is poor value; it means buyers should target AI licenses where they save measurable time and confirm whether newer AI-inclusive plans are available to their workspace.
Business versus Unlimited: where the extra spend goes
The upgrade from Unlimited to Business is not mainly about adding more basic project features. It is about management and operational control. Business adds advanced dashboards, workload visibility, private Whiteboards, proofing, webhooks, Google SSO and a much higher automation allowance. Teams should map those capabilities to actual operating pain. If managers spend hours assembling status reports or coordinators manually route repetitive work, Business can justify the higher seat price through saved labor rather than feature count alone.
If those needs do not exist, Unlimited remains the stronger value. Its combination of Gantt, time tracking, goals, portfolios, resource management and unlimited Forms is already broader than many competitors' mid-tier plans.
Enterprise budgeting questions
Enterprise buyers should ask for a quote that separates base seats, AI products, support services and any implementation assistance. They should also confirm data-residency region, SAML/SCIM requirements, HIPAA/BAA needs, automation volume and API expectations. Those requirements can matter more than a nominal per-user comparison because Enterprise is purchased for governance and scale rather than only additional task-management features.
Procurement should also clarify renewal notice, expansion pricing and the treatment of new users added during the term so future growth does not create surprises.
