Confluence
Atlassian team workspace for documentation, knowledge bases, whiteboards, databases, intranets and AI-powered enterprise knowledge.
Confluence combines pages, live collaborative documents, spaces, databases, whiteboards, templates, automation, comments/versioning and Atlassian Rovo AI. Premium adds unlimited whiteboards, admin insights, dynamic intranet/company hub and more automation, while Enterprise adds Atlassian Analytics/Data Lake, multi-site scale and advanced administration.
G2's current Atlassian seller page lists 4,370 Confluence reviews, while its knowledge-base category snapshot rates Confluence 4.1/5 from 4,253 reviews; Capterra rates Confluence 4.5/5 from 3,720 with 4.3 ease and customer service. Users value central knowledge and Jira integration but repeatedly cite search, page sprawl, permissions and navigation complexity.
Confluence has a real Free plan for up to 10 users. The current monthly pricing view lists Standard at $5.42/user/month and Premium at $10.44. Annual subscriptions can save up to 17% but are tier-priced by user count, so Toollers does not invent one annual per-user amount. Enterprise is quote-led.
Confluence integrates deeply with Jira, Loom, Trello, Atlassian Marketplace and third-party apps. Atlassian documents Confluence Cloud in SOC 2 scope and lists SOC 3, PCI DSS, ISO 27001/27018 and GDPR controls, while Enterprise includes Guard Standard and higher governance capabilities.
