Flourish
Interactive charts, maps and data stories for publishers, analysts and business teams.
The official site documents 50+ templates, interactive mapping, scrollytelling, live data connections and export; the richest collaboration/API features require paid tiers.
No-code templates and publishing workflows are well documented, and several of the four exact-match G2 reviewers liked ease of chart creation; the sample is too small for confident service assessment.
A genuine unlimited-project Free tier is transparent, but Publisher/Enterprise contracts lack public prices and Presenter requires a separate Canva Business or Enterprise plan.
Vendor documentation covers Google Sheets/CSV updates, Canva/PowerPoint, an enterprise API, SSO and ISO 27001; security claims have not been audited by Toollers.

About Flourish
Flourish, part of Canva, lets non-developers create responsive interactive visualizations, animated charts, maps and narrative data stories. The Free plan supports public embedded charts with attribution; Presenter adds presentation exports through Canva Business or Enterprise, while Publisher and Enterprise expand team branding, live data, collaboration and controls on custom contracts.
Best for
Analysts, marketers, newsrooms and business intelligence teams publishing interactive charts, maps and scrollytelling to websites, decks or stakeholder reports.
Flourish pros and cons
Pros
- The Free tier provides unlimited projects and more than 50 interactive chart/map templates without a software fee.
- Unpublished projects and their data stay private by default, while public embeds can be shared with attribution.
- Presenter includes Canva and PowerPoint workflows, plus image and SVG export, for qualifying Canva business subscribers.
- Publisher enables collaboration, custom themes, HTML export and live updates through Google Sheets or a public CSV.
- The vendor publishes a security program describing ISO 27001 certification and enterprise SSO controls.
Cons
- −Free web publication requires Flourish attribution; removing it on third-party websites generally requires Publisher or higher.
- −There are no numeric public list prices for Publisher or Enterprise, so the full price depends on a sales contract.
- −Presenter is tied to a separate Canva Business/Enterprise subscription rather than an independent public Flourish price.
- −More advanced branding, approval workflows and API/data controls depend on higher-tier entitlements.
- −Only four exact-match G2 reviews are visible, too few to generalize enterprise onboarding or long-term support quality.
