About NordPass
NordPass is a password and passkey manager from the Nord Security product family. It provides an encrypted vault, password generation, autosave and autofill, secure credential sharing, and business administration for teams. Individuals can begin with a permanent Free account, while Premium adds features such as advanced password health and breach checks. A Family plan provides six separate member vaults. Business buyers choose between Teams, Business and Enterprise, each with distinct user minimums, access policies and identity integration capabilities. NordPass is a credential manager rather than NordVPN, NordLayer or a complete identity governance product, although it belongs to the same vendor group. NordPass uses XChaCha20 encryption for its vault and describes a zero-knowledge design in which data is encrypted and decrypted on the user device. Its security and support pages reference independent auditing, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II; buyers should verify the current certification scope, audit dates and relevant entity during procurement. Users can save logins and other sensitive entries, generate random passwords and access them from supported browsers, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android applications. Other functions include passkey support, password import, file attachments, emergency access, offline credential access, password history, email masking and a built-in authenticator, although the plan comparison determines which are included at each level. The personal Free offering is intended for core credential storage and autofill. NordPass's feature table distinguishes Free from Premium on simultaneous multi-device access and advanced monitoring; its FAQ also mentions automatic synchronization across devices for Free. Buyers should interpret that as an important limitation on the concurrent logged-in experience, not a statement that Free cannot ever sync. Premium provides enhanced password health, data breach scanning, secure sharing and attachments, while the six-member Family plan gives each participant a separate encrypted vault. The official personal plan page currently renders its numeric sale prices as dynamic “Loading” fields in available source text. Promo duration, taxes, renewal amounts and term discounts therefore remain unfilled rather than being guessed from third-party prices. Consumer plans advertise a 30-day money-back guarantee, subject to the applicable purchase policy. Business licensing is structured differently. NordPass Teams is advertised as a fixed 10-user pack for small organizations, with credential generation, secure sharing, offline access, activity monitoring, administrator security settings, MFA and Google Workspace SSO. Business begins with a minimum of five users and adds group and folder sharing, password strength and breach monitoring and a Vanta compliance integration. Enterprise also begins with a five-user minimum and includes further controls for shared credentials, SSO through Entra ID, Microsoft ADFS and Okta, automatic provisioning through Entra ID and Okta, and security reporting integrations including Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk. These are differences between tiers, so a Business buyer should not assume Enterprise identity automation is included simply because Teams already offers Google SSO. The vendor's business pricing page allows one-month, one-year and two-year subscription choices with discount percentages, but the retrieved numeric prices are displayed through dynamic “Loading” elements. The page states business payments are charged in US dollars and that displayed rates exclude VAT. Accordingly this Toollers profile keeps numeric paid-plan prices null pending a verified live checkout or quote; it preserves the user minimums and term distinctions. A 14-day business free trial is available without providing a credit card. The business pricing FAQ states a refund can be requested within 14 calendar days of initial purchase, which differs from the 30-day personal money-back message. Businesses should review renewal pricing, volume adjustments and trial conversion terms before choosing a discounted multi-year term. Deployment and rollout depend on the organization's identity and security policies. Admins should define ownership of shared passwords, access for contractors, recovery processes, vault exports and audit-log retention, then test onboarding and removal of employees. A password manager can reduce reuse of weak credentials and make authorized sharing easier, but it cannot prevent all phishing, account takeovers or identity misconfiguration by itself. NordPass is a good fit for users who want a Free starting point and for companies seeking structured credential sharing without building a bespoke secrets system. It is less suitable when a team needs all Enterprise SSO and provisioning features at the lowest tier or expects a fixed price from a time-limited promotion. Toollers has researched current vendor plan and security material but has not conducted hands-on client testing or a cryptographic audit.
