Zoho Sign
Zoho-integrated electronic and digital signatures with a five-envelope free plan, paid workflow tiers and usage credits for automations.
From basic signing through templates and bulk/form/conditional workflows, the tier range covers many operational needs.
Native Zoho apps and clear template flows help adoption; credit-triggering automations require testing and governance.
Published free and annual prices are accessible, but extra credits and plan-specific unlimited-envelope terms create complexity.
Deep Zoho ecosystem plus Microsoft/Google and digital-signature support; legal and security controls remain buyer-verified.

About Zoho Sign
Zoho Sign is a cloud electronic-signature application that lets businesses prepare documents, add signature fields, route files to recipients, request approvals and retain a documented audit trail. Its practical appeal is the connection to the wider Zoho business ecosystem, including Zoho CRM, People, Recruit, Books and WorkDrive, plus integrations with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and third-party automation services. A small company can begin with a free single-user plan allowing five signature envelopes each month, including reminders, audit history, cloud storage import/export and mobile or desktop access. Zoho’s official USD annual pricing page lists Standard at $10 per user monthly equivalent, Professional at $16 and Enterprise at $22. Standard provides 25 envelopes per user per month, approval and manager workflows, recipient authentication options and supported app connectors. Professional upgrades ordinary signature sending through the app interface to unlimited envelopes and adds unlimited templates, branding, signer attachments, language controls and reports. Enterprise adds SignForms, bulk sending, signing groups, in-person signing, conditional fields, payment collection, webhooks and features targeting regulated signature use. Zoho offers a 14-day no-card trial. Not all interactions advertised as unlimited are free of extra usage charges. Zoho explicitly distinguishes ordinary web/mobile signing in Professional and Enterprise from API calls, third-party integrations, automation, identity and certain trust services, which may consume Zoho Sign credits. Official support documentation prices add-on credits at $0.10 each, sold in multiples of 500; this means a 500-credit purchase is $50 before tax. A current automation-credit help article says an organization may also have a separate monthly automation-credit allowance for supported Zoho ecosystem use cases, with specific credits-per-workflow rules. The vendor has updated credit allowance explanations over time, so estimate costs by the exact app connector and confirm the account dashboard rather than multiplying a generic credit rate across all sends. Professional’s unlimited-envelope headline applies to supported manual app-interface sends, not an unrestricted API deployment. Zoho also markets a separate API-only product, including a published Premium price per envelope, but that offer is not a Standard, Professional or Enterprise seat plan and should be assessed independently. Zoho Sign provides signer reminders, sequential workflows, document timestamps, audit trails, permission controls and advanced digital-signature options depending on edition and geography. It is useful for growing Zoho CRM or HR teams; its key risks are understanding extra credits, identity service availability, geographic regulatory variations and which modules actually trigger usage metering. Toollers did not run a live Zoho Sign tenant, perform a credit-billing test or verify certificates for legal validity. The rating is an independent research estimate based on official feature/pricing material and product-matched user feedback.
Best for
Small and midsize teams already using Zoho CRM, HR or finance apps that want electronic signatures and can control which automations consume paid credits.
