Kajabi Pricing 2026: Plans, Fees and Real Costs
Kajabi costs $179 Basic, $249 Growth and $499 Pro monthly, with 20% annual savings. Compare limits, payment fees, AI, API and app costs.

Kajabi's current standard pricing is Basic at $179 per month, Growth at $249 and Pro at $499. Annual billing reduces the displayed monthly equivalents to $143, $199 and $399 and charges $1,716, $2,388 and $4,788 for the year. This is a new pricing generation introduced for 2026 and it replaces the older Kickstarter/Basic/Growth/Pro pricing still visible in stale comparison pages. Kajabi now gives each current plan substantially different product, contact, automation and platform limits, while optional capacity, payment processing, AI credits, Public API and Branded App choices can change the real total cost.

What changed in Kajabi pricing for 2026?
Kajabi announced a plan and pricing change in late 2025 that became effective for many existing customers on January 13, 2026. The vendor launched new plans with higher limits and new capabilities while older legacy plans moved to new prices unless a customer qualified for specific founder/beta exceptions.
The result is a significant disconnect between current official pricing and older comparison pages. Capterra still lists Kickstarter at $89, Basic at $149, Growth at $199 and Pro at $399. Those figures are not the standard current prices on Kajabi's main pricing page and should not be used for a new purchase decision.
Basic: $179/month or $143 annual equivalent
Basic is the current entry plan. It includes five products, 2,500 contacts, one website, one community and two admin users. Current Kajabi pricing also includes unlimited landing pages, unlimited funnels and unlimited marketing emails.
Basic uses Basic Automations rather than Advanced Automations. That means the core When/Then automation model is available, but conditional logic and central automation management are more limited than on Growth and Pro.
Monthly Basic costs $2,148 over twelve months. Annual billing costs $1,716, saving $432 compared with twelve monthly payments. The vendor describes annual savings as 20%.
Growth: $249/month or $199 annual equivalent
Growth increases capacity dramatically: 50 products, 25,000 contacts, one website, one community and 11 admin users. It also unlocks Advanced Automations and broader marketing/customer-management capability.
Growth currently includes 500 AI credits per month. Those credits can be used for transcription, translation and dubbing at different conversion rates. Growth is therefore the first plan designed for a mature creator business with a sizable list and more complex lifecycle automation.
Twelve monthly payments cost $2,988. The annual plan is $2,388, saving $600 over the year.
Pro: $499/month or $399 annual equivalent
Pro supports unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, three websites, three communities and 26 admin users. It includes Advanced Automations and the highest current standard-plan limits.
The current Public API is included on the new Pro plan. Pro also includes 1,000 monthly AI credits. Kajabi's current Branded App FAQ says one Branded App is included at no extra Kajabi subscription fee on Pro, while Basic and Growth pay $199 per month for the add-on.
Twelve monthly Pro payments total $5,988. Annual billing is $4,788, saving $1,200 over twelve months.
Free trial and money-back guarantee
Kajabi's current main pricing page advertises a 30-day free trial. It also advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee and says users can upgrade, downgrade or cancel.
Promotional checkout pages can differ. One September 2026 campaign page, for example, used a 14-day trial. The standard guide should therefore cite the main pricing page while reminding readers to verify the checkout they actually enter.
No permanent free plan
Kajabi does not currently list a permanent free plan. This is an important distinction from LearnWorlds' trial model and from low-cost competitors such as Systeme.io, which provides a permanent Free tier.
Price-sensitive beginners should therefore use the Kajabi trial to build a realistic product before committing to the $179 monthly entry point.
Annual billing savings
The current annual discounts are explicit. Basic saves $432 per year, Growth $600 and Pro $1,200 compared with twelve monthly payments at the current monthly list price.
Annual billing is most attractive after the buyer has validated Kajabi's workflow. Because creator businesses can have complex migrations—courses, email sequences, domains, payments and customer access—switching later is more operationally expensive than cancelling a simple utility app.
Payment processing and Kajabi fees
Kajabi says it does not take revenue share as a platform. Payment processing still applies. Kajabi Payments rates vary by business country, plan and payment method. Growth and Pro can receive plan-level card-rate discounts in supported regions.
Kajabi Payments is currently available in the United States, Canada, Australia, UAE, UK and selected European countries. Stripe and PayPal remain supported.
The current pricing table also lists an additional Kajabi fee when certain third-party payment providers are used where Kajabi Payments is available: 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro. The vendor excludes PayPal and Kajabi Payments from that specific fee.
Example U.S. Kajabi Payments costs
Kajabi's current U.S. Payments documentation lists standard card processing at 2.9% + $0.30 USD, with an additional 1.5% for international cards. ACH Direct Debit is 0.8% capped at $5, plus verification/failure fees where applicable. Other charges can apply for invoicing, disputes, currency conversion and Instant Payouts.
These rates are region-specific, so a creator registered in Canada, Australia, Europe, the UK or UAE should use the corresponding official fee page instead of assuming U.S. processing economics.
Contact-capacity add-ons
Kajabi's current pricing FAQ says contacts can be expanded in blocks of 25,000 for $125 per month at any size. This can be cheaper than moving plans if the only bottleneck is contact capacity, but it should be compared against the other benefits of the next tier.
For example, a Basic customer that needs significantly more automation may gain more from Growth than from simply buying extra contacts. Capacity add-ons solve limits, not feature gates.
AI credits
Growth currently includes 500 AI credits each month and Pro includes 1,000. Basic includes no monthly AI-credit allocation. Kajabi's AI-credit documentation says all plans can purchase extra credits.
The current conversion is one credit per transcription minute, ten credits per translation minute and 100 credits per dubbing minute. That means 500 Growth credits could cover 500 transcription minutes, 50 translation minutes or only five dubbing minutes if used entirely on one service.
Current subscription-management documentation lists 500 extra AI credits at $15. Heavy localization users should include this in production cost.
Branded App pricing
Kajabi's Branded App is currently included on Pro at no additional Kajabi subscription fee. Basic and Growth can add one for $199 per month.
This can materially change the plan comparison. Growth plus a $199 app add-on is $448 per month before other extras—only $51 below Pro's $499 monthly list price. If a business also needs Pro's larger product/contact limits or Public API, moving to Pro can be more rational than adding the app to Growth.
Public API pricing
The current Public API is included on the new Pro plan. Kajabi also documents a $25-per-month API add-on for eligible accounts. Legacy plan access can differ.
A developer should confirm whether the required account can purchase the add-on or should move to current Pro. Webhooks remain useful on Growth for many event-driven integrations.
True-cost scenarios
Scenario 1: Basic paid monthly
A creator using Basic for a full year on monthly billing pays $2,148 before taxes and payment processing. If the platform replaces website hosting, email marketing, funnels and course software, that total should be compared with the full replacement stack rather than a course-hosting plan alone.
Scenario 2: Growth annual
Growth annual costs $2,388. The business gets 50 products, 25,000 contacts, Advanced Automations, 11 admins and 500 monthly AI credits. This is the most natural plan for a growing multi-offer creator that does not need Pro's multi-site/API/app advantages.
Scenario 3: Growth plus Branded App
Growth monthly at $249 plus the $199 Branded App add-on produces $448 per month before processing. At that point, compare Pro at $499 because the $51 difference also buys unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, additional sites/communities/admins, API and more AI credits.
Scenario 4: Pro annual
Pro annual costs $4,788. For a business actively using the branded app, API, multiple sites and large contact database, the plan can be more economical than piecing those capabilities together with separate vendors.
Cancellation
Kajabi says plans can be upgraded, downgraded or cancelled. Payment subscriptions sold to the creator's customers are a separate issue: canceling the Kajabi account does not automatically cancel customer subscriptions processed through Kajabi Payments, Stripe or PayPal.
After Kajabi cancellation, the owner retains limited payments access for managing transactions, subscriptions, payment plans, disputes and refunds. That separation should be part of the exit plan.
Refunds
The current main pricing page advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. Exact eligibility can depend on the current checkout and account terms, so businesses should retain the purchase confirmation and read the active terms before committing to an annual plan.
Which Kajabi plan fits which buyer?
Who should use this
- Basic fits creators with up to 5 products and 2,500 contacts who need an integrated business platform but not Advanced Automations
- Growth fits scaling creators with larger lists, up to 50 products and advanced lifecycle automation
- Pro fits businesses needing unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, multiple sites, Public API, larger teams or the included Branded App benefit
Who should avoid this
- Basic is a poor fit when Advanced Automations or substantial contact scale are already required
- Growth can become poor value if a $199 Branded App add-on is also required and Pro's other benefits would be used
- Pro is hard to justify when the business only needs simple course hosting
- Annual billing is a poor fit until the buyer validates migration, checkout and email workflows
Pricing pros and cons
Pros
- Current standard plan prices and major capacity limits are publicly documented
- Annual billing clearly saves 20% at current list prices
- Unlimited marketing emails and funnels reduce separate SaaS spend
- Pro's current API and Branded App benefits add real value for advanced businesses
- Contact and AI-credit add-ons let customers expand without always changing base plans
Cons
- No permanent free plan
- Entry pricing starts at $179/month
- Payment processing and selected third-party provider fees can materially affect net revenue
- Branded App costs $199/month on Basic/Growth
- Contact, AI and payment economics add complexity beyond the headline plan

Pricing methodology and legacy migration
We checked Kajabi's official pricing, AI Credits, Public API, Branded App and Payments documentation on October 2, 2026. Current Basic/Growth/Pro prices come directly from the live Kajabi pricing page.
The existing Toollers legacy Kajabi Pricing article was published November 11, 2025 and uses the previous Kickstarter-era pricing structure. Its publication date should be preserved during migration, but its price table should not be reused.
