Kajabi Review 2026: Features, Pros, Cons and Verdict
A research-based review of Kajabi: features, pricing context, strengths, limitations, buyer fit and cited evidence.

Kajabi combines courses, coaching, memberships, communities, websites, landing pages, funnels, email marketing, checkout, payments, automation, affiliate management, AI features and branded app options. Its breadth is unusually strong for expert businesses, although some advanced automation, API, branding and multi-site features remain plan-gated.
Capterra's current 230-review listing reports 4.1/5 ease of use and 4.1/5 customer service, while G2's 93-review exact profile is 4.1/5. Reviews consistently value the consolidated platform but also mention setup complexity, limited flexibility in some workflows and a learning curve for automations and site customization.
Kajabi clearly publishes monthly and annual prices, plan limits, 20% annual savings, a 30-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. The main drawback is high entry pricing, plus country/payment-method processing charges and extra fees when using some third-party payment providers.
Kajabi supports Zapier, Stripe, PayPal, Segment, Meta Pixel, Mailchimp and other integrations, while current 2026 vendor comparisons document SSL, PCI compliance, two-factor authentication, automated backups, permissions and GDPR support. No current Kajabi-owned SOC 2 or ISO application certification was verified.
Scored by Aditya Verma
Kajabi is a premium all-in-one platform for creators, coaches, consultants and expert-led businesses that want to build, market and sell courses, memberships, communities, coaching programs and digital products without stitching together a separate website builder, email platform, funnel tool, checkout and learning platform. The current 2026 product is materially different from the older Kajabi pricing structure still shown on some third-party pages: the standard lineup is now Basic, Growth and Pro, with substantially higher limits, AI credits on upper tiers, new payment-fee rules and the current Pro plan bundling advanced capabilities such as the Public API and Branded App. Kajabi's biggest strength remains consolidation. Its biggest weakness is price: it is expensive if you only need course hosting, and independent reviews repeatedly note that individual modules such as email, customization or integrations may not match the depth of specialist products.

The live Kajabi Toollers profile uses Product ID 20025. Toollers currently scores Kajabi at 4.4 out of 5 on a research basis, with the public profile marked Tested in editorial workflow. Because no named tester, reviewer, plan, screenshots or dated test log were supplied for this article, the review remains evidence-based rather than first-person.
What is Kajabi?
Kajabi is a cloud platform designed around the business of monetizing expertise. A creator can build a website, create a course or coaching offer, host a community, collect leads, send marketing email, build funnels, accept payments and deliver the purchased content from one account.
The product is not merely an LMS. Course delivery is one part of a larger creator-commerce system. Kajabi also includes landing pages, forms, offers, checkout, email campaigns, funnels, events, automations, analytics, affiliates on eligible plans, communities and payment tools.
This positioning explains both the price and the buyer fit. A training business that only needs SCORM delivery may find Kajabi expensive and functionally mismatched. A coach selling courses, community access and recurring memberships while running email and funnels from the same database can replace several subscriptions with one platform.
How we researched Kajabi
Testing methodology
Current vendor sources were given priority over Kajabi's older Toollers articles and stale third-party plan tables. Capterra, for example, still shows the old Kickstarter/Basic/Growth/Pro structure with prices beginning at $89, while Kajabi's current official page now shows Basic at $179 monthly, Growth at $249 and Pro at $499.
We also separated platform fees from payment processing. Kajabi says it does not take a revenue share as a platform, but payment processing still costs money and current pricing can add Kajabi fees when certain third-party processors are used instead of Kajabi Payments in eligible regions.

Courses, coaching and digital products
Kajabi supports the core creator-business formats most buyers expect: online courses, coaching programs, memberships, communities, podcasts and downloadable or digital offers. Basic currently supports five products, Growth 50 and Pro unlimited products.
The value is the connection between delivery and commerce. An offer can be sold through Kajabi checkout, trigger automations, tag the buyer, deliver course access and start follow-up email without custom integration between separate products.
Kajabi is less suited to formal corporate-learning requirements such as SCORM-heavy deployments. Buyers that need advanced LMS standards, corporate client groups or deep assessment/reporting should compare LearnWorlds before assuming an all-in-one creator platform is the same thing as a training LMS.
Website, landing pages and funnels
Every current standard plan includes the website and landing-page environment plus unlimited funnels. That makes Kajabi attractive to a creator who would otherwise buy a website builder and funnel tool separately.
The tradeoff is design flexibility. Current G2 and Capterra reviews repeatedly praise the convenience of centralized websites and landing pages, but some reviewers say customization is more limited than specialist web-design products. Kajabi prioritizes launch speed and integration over unrestricted visual engineering.
Email marketing
Kajabi includes marketing email rather than requiring a separate email service. Current plans list unlimited marketing emails, while the contact database scales from 2,500 contacts on Basic to 25,000 on Growth and 100,000 on Pro.
This is a major part of Kajabi's economic argument. A business paying separately for an LMS, website, funnel tool and email platform can consolidate recurring cost and reduce data synchronization work.
Email depth is also one of the common independent criticisms. Some reviewers say Kajabi's email functionality is adequate but less sophisticated than specialist marketing-automation tools. A business with complex lifecycle segmentation should compare Kajabi's automations against ActiveCampaign or another specialist before migration.
Basic versus Advanced Automations
Kajabi currently gives Basic customers Basic Automations and Growth/Pro customers Advanced Automations. Basic uses straightforward When/Then logic attached to areas such as forms, offers, funnels, emails, events and course activity.
Advanced Automations add conditional logic—an Only-if condition—and central creation/management from the Marketing Automations area. This is important for mature creator businesses that want different follow-up based on tags, form answers, purchase behavior or course activity.
Kajabi is also rolling out an upgraded automation-canvas experience. Buyers should expect account-level differences while the transition continues, but the plan split between Basic and Advanced automation capability still matters.
Communities and memberships
Basic and Growth currently include one community, while Pro includes three. Communities can be used alongside courses and memberships so customers do not need a separate community platform for every creator business.
Kajabi's value is strongest when community participation is tied to purchases, course access and email segmentation. A business whose community itself is the central product should still compare specialist community platforms for moderation, discovery and interaction depth.
Payments and checkout
Kajabi supports free offers, one-time payments, subscriptions and payment plans. Kajabi Payments is powered by Stripe's processing infrastructure but is managed inside Kajabi. Stripe and PayPal integrations remain supported.
The vendor says it does not take a platform revenue share. That does not mean payments are free. Processing rates vary by country, plan and payment method. Kajabi Payments is currently available in the United States, Canada, Australia, UAE, UK and selected European countries.
Where Kajabi Payments is available, current pricing also lists an additional Kajabi fee when certain third-party payment providers are used: 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro. The pricing page explicitly excludes PayPal and Kajabi Payments from that particular third-party fee.
AI credits, transcription, translation and dubbing
Kajabi now uses AI Credits for video-related AI services. Growth includes 500 credits per month and Pro 1,000. Basic currently includes no monthly AI-credit allocation, although current plans can purchase additional AI credits.
Current conversion is one credit per minute of transcription, ten credits per minute of translation and 100 credits per minute of dubbing. This makes dubbing materially more expensive in credit terms than transcription.
Kajabi currently lists a $15 purchase for 500 AI credits in subscription-management documentation. A multilingual course business should therefore model dubbing usage rather than assuming AI localization is unlimited with the subscription.
Public API and integrations
The current Kajabi Public API is included with the new Pro plan. Kajabi also documents a $25-per-month API add-on for eligible accounts. Owners and subowners can create and rotate API keys with selected permissions.
Growth users without API access can use inbound and outbound webhooks for some integration workflows. Kajabi also supports integrations such as Stripe, PayPal, Zapier, Segment, Meta Pixel, Mailchimp and others.
This is a meaningful improvement over older versions of Kajabi, but Pro is still the cleanest choice for a business that expects custom application integration to become part of the operating model.
Branded mobile app
Kajabi's Branded App gives creators their own iOS/Android listing with their logo, branding, courses, coaching, podcasts, community and other eligible content. It also supports targeted push notifications and in-app purchases.
The current Pro plan includes a Branded App at no extra Kajabi subscription fee. Basic and Growth can add one for $199 per month. Apple/Google developer-account and store requirements still apply where relevant.
This materially changes the Pro value calculation for businesses that were already considering a separate branded-app vendor.
Security and privacy
The live Toollers research record documents Kajabi's current materials around SSL encryption, PCI-related payment security, two-factor authentication, automated backups, permissions and GDPR support. Kajabi Payments uses Stripe's processing infrastructure.
We did not verify a current Kajabi-owned SOC 2 or ISO application certification in the public research used for this article. Enterprise-style procurement teams should request the latest security and compliance documentation directly rather than inferring certification from payment or hosting providers.

Kajabi's current pricing page advertises a 30-day free trial and 30-day money-back guarantee. Active promotional checkout pages can use different trial lengths, so use the main pricing page as the standard offer and verify the exact checkout terms.

4.8

4.3
The 4.8 feature score reflects Kajabi's breadth across creator commerce and learning. Usability scores well because reviewers consistently value centralization and launch speed, while still mentioning setup complexity and customization limits. Pricing is transparent but expensive. Trust is strong enough for mainstream creator businesses, but the current public research does not establish a Kajabi-owned SOC 2 or ISO application certification.

What current users say about Kajabi
G2 currently shows Kajabi at 4.1 out of 5 from 93 reviews. The most consistent positive theme is the all-in-one model: users like having website, email, sales, courses and production in one platform. Recent reviewers also praise easier setup and the ability to avoid connecting many separate tools.
G2's current summary also surfaces recurring concerns about price, customer-support experiences, customization and missing specialist depth. Ease of use is currently 8.3 out of 10 in G2's small-business category view.
Capterra currently shows Kajabi at 4.4 out of 5 from 230 reviews, with 4.1 for ease of use and 4.1 for customer service. Its current review summary says users value streamlined course creation and integrated marketing/community tools, while high cost remains the most visible downside. Value for money is lower at 3.7 out of 5.
These review sets support the same core conclusion: Kajabi is strong because it is integrated, not because every module is individually the deepest product in its category.
Kajabi alternatives
The current Toollers catalog contains several credible alternatives. LearnWorlds is stronger for learning-management depth and SCORM. Kartra emphasizes funnels and marketing automation. Passion.io is centered on branded mobile apps and coaching/community delivery. Systeme.io is the budget all-in-one. GoHighLevel is broader for agencies, CRM and client sub-accounts.
Final verdict
Kajabi's current pricing is premium, but the platform is more capable than the older $89 Kickstarter-era comparison still shown on third-party pages. Basic is now a real business plan with five products and 2,500 contacts. Growth is the scale tier with 50 products, 25,000 contacts and Advanced Automations. Pro becomes a platform tier with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, three sites, Public API and the branded-app benefit.
The strongest buying case is consolidation. If Kajabi replaces course hosting, website, email, funnels, community and payment workflows, the effective cost can be competitive. If a buyer needs only a course player or already loves its existing email and website stack, Kajabi can feel expensive and redundant.
Use the 30-day trial to build one real product, one funnel, one email sequence and one checkout. That will reveal more about fit than a feature checklist.
