SPEQTA GST Pricing: Plans, ICAI Offers and Renewals
See SPEQTA GST Professional, ICAI and SME pricing, renewal fees, free CA eligibility, LAN costs and the official terms that buyers must confirm.

SPEQTA GST publishes several Indian-rupee price schedules, but they should not be merged into one subscription chart. Its regular Professional new-license page lists Silver ₹5,500, Gold ₹7,500 and Platinum ₹11,000, plus 18% GST; separate renewal prices are available. A conditional three-year free offer for practicing ICAI members and another ICAI discounted table may change the amount eligible buyers pay. We compared the official pages on October 30, 2026 UTC. The billing term, final offer and current checkout amount still require written vendor confirmation.

Desktop GST filing and reconciliation for Indian CA practices
Best for: Practicing Indian chartered accountants handling GSTR filing and purchase/ITC reconciliation for 20 to 100 or more client GSTINs, who prefer desktop-oriented work.
- Tax data imports
- ITC reconciliation
- GSTR return preparation
- Offline preparation
- Client reminders
- Vendor documents preparation for multiple GST return formats including GSTR-1, 3B, 9 and 9C.
- Matching workflows cover GSTR-2A, 2B, GSTR-3B and books/invoices, including annual comparisons.
- Can ingest Excel, Tally, BUSY and Marg-related templates for client records, subject to current import compatibility.
- Pricing information conflicts: the vendor says ICAI members can use Startup free for three years, while ICAI's partner page lists discounted Startup and other paid rates.
- A Windows desktop installation and LAN licensing workflow are less suited to teams needing a mobile-first, centrally hosted client portal.
What exactly does the SPEQTA GST license purchase?
SPEQTA Taxsoft and Compliance LLP sells Indian GST return preparation, reporting and reconciliation software. A professional license is meaningful only when tied to the number of client GSTINs, functions such as GSTR-2A reconciliation, the number of installed or concurrent LAN computers, and the time during which the vendor supplies access and updates. That differs from a typical per-user cloud SaaS contract. The published pages describe new and renewal prices, but they do not establish a universal monthly-billing schedule or a twelve-month entitlement from every purchase date.
A researched editorial page cannot silently overwrite those structured fields.
SPEQTA GST Professional: published new-license plans
| New-license offer | Published base price | Monthly or annual equivalent | Published allowance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Professional Silver | ₹5,500 plus 18% GST | Billing term not confirmed; not a monthly quote | Up to 100 GSTIN stated on this page |
| Professional Gold | ₹7,500 plus 18% GST | Billing term not confirmed; not a monthly quote | Up to 100 GSTIN plus reconciliation |
| Professional Platinum | ₹11,000 plus 18% GST | Billing term not confirmed; not a monthly quote | Unlimited GSTIN plus reconciliation |
| Professional LAN add-on | ₹500 plus 18% GST | Device term not confirmed | Additional LAN access; eligibility confirm |
| SME Premium | ₹15,000 plus 18% GST | Billing term not confirmed | Up to 5 businesses |
| Corporate Platinum | Custom pricing plus 18% GST | Written quote required | Corporate features and unlimited business claim |
The standard Professional page has a Silver tier at ₹5,500 plus 18% GST, advertising return filing, portal downloads, ledger views and reports. Gold costs ₹7,500 plus 18% GST and adds listed GSTR-1 and GSTR-2A reconciliation functions and a claim about reconciling up to 12,000 invoices. Platinum is ₹11,000 plus 18% GST and is described as supporting unlimited GSTINs. The extra LAN line is ₹500 plus 18% GST. These are vendor-displayed new-license amounts, not prices we obtained through an actual purchase.
The Silver description creates an important naming problem: it says up to 100 GSTIN, while the separate CA-oriented offer uses the name Start-up for up to 20 GSTIN. Gold also says up to 100 GSTIN, so buyers should not infer that Silver and Gold differ only by a GSTIN count. They may differ by reconciliation entitlement or another unlisted condition. Ask the salesperson to identify the exact SKU in the invoice, show a feature entitlement sheet and specify whether each named module works for every GSTIN within the allowance.
A separate renewal price page strongly suggests renewal payments, but does not by itself define the new-license coverage period or a guaranteed renewal schedule. We deliberately do not divide these figures by twelve or advertise a monthly equivalent without a documented commitment period. A firm should request start date, expiry date, update coverage, portability rules and whether unused months carry forward.
What changes between Silver, Gold and Platinum?
Silver advertises baseline GSTR return support, portal data download, ledgers and reporting. Gold visibly adds return and purchase reconciliation in its product list; Platinum broadly preserves those functions but states unlimited GSTIN capacity. That makes Gold an obvious discussion point for a CA office with many active clients, while Platinum should be evaluated for a practice that expects to exceed one hundred GSTINs. However, unlimited GSTIN is not proof of unlimited invoice processing, concurrent users, bulk API access or unlimited support. Keep those dimensions separate in procurement.
SPEQTA’s marketing description also mentions reconciling 12,000 invoices. The published copy does not unambiguously say whether that figure applies per GSTIN, per month, per financial year or a single operation. It should not be interpreted as a hard overage threshold or an unlimited-use promise. Request a sample dataset with your actual largest monthly invoice volume and ask what happens when it exceeds the displayed number. If the vendor quotes an additional processing fee, get the unit and trigger in writing rather than using a hypothetical rate.
Professional renewal pricing
| Renewal edition | Published renewal price | Tax shown | Term caveat |
|---|---|---|---|
| Silver renewal | ₹3,000 | Plus 18% GST | Exact entitlement period confirm |
| Gold renewal | ₹4,500 | Plus 18% GST | Exact entitlement period confirm |
| Platinum renewal | ₹6,000 | Plus 18% GST | Exact entitlement period confirm |
| LAN renewal | ₹500 | Plus 18% GST | Confirm device license and term |
SPEQTA has a separate Professional renewal page: Silver ₹3,000, Gold ₹4,500, Platinum ₹6,000 and LAN ₹500, all shown with 18% GST. These figures matter because a lower new-license amount can be poor value if a later renewal is unexpectedly expensive, or if a license purchased near filing season expires early. We did not find enough explicit contract wording on those pages to assign a calendar-year or financial-year duration to every edition. The safest comparison is a dated vendor quote covering both the first invoice and the next renewal.
For budgeting, distinguish one-time onboarding costs, the initial license payment, recurring license renewal, LAN licenses and possible migration or support services. A renewal page is not a guarantee that the same price will remain fixed after several years. Ask whether renewal rates are subject to change, whether a lapse prevents access to existing client records and which return preparation functions continue if the renewal is delayed. Keep a tested export and backup policy even if the vendor permits read-only access, because the policy was not verified here.
Free for practicing CAs versus paid ICAI discounts
The vendor’s CA-focused landing page prominently advertises free use for practicing CAs under an ICAI arrangement, limited to twenty GSTINs. Its activation instructions ask for software download, ICAI membership verification, an email address and mobile number, and activation through received credentials. That dialog states a three-year free period. These conditions make it a specific promotional entitlement, not a permanent public free plan for every accountant, advocate or business.
At the same time, ICAI’s Members in Practice Committee page lists a paid Start-up edition at ₹2,500 plus GST, Gold at ₹2,250 plus GST and Platinum at ₹3,300 plus GST, with separate regular prices. It tells members to validate their membership number to obtain the offer. The Start-up member amount is higher than the listed Gold member amount, which may reflect a special promotion or a page inconsistency. We cannot determine from the public pages which offer takes priority or whether any prices have been superseded.
| ICAI-facing edition | Regular list price | ICAI discounted figure | Claimed allowance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start-up | ₹5,500 plus GST | ₹2,500 plus GST | Up to 20 GSTIN |
| Gold | ₹7,500 plus GST | ₹2,250 plus GST | Up to 100 GSTIN |
| Platinum | ₹11,000 plus GST | ₹3,300 plus GST | Unlimited GSTIN |
| Additional LAN PC | ₹1,000 plus GST | ₹300 plus GST | Separate Gold or Platinum eligibility check |
The member pricing chart should not be read as a guarantee that every ICAI member will pay the displayed discount: it is an official offer page, not a purchaser-specific checkout. Its own disclaimer says ICAI facilitates the arrangement but does not guarantee the provider’s services. The vendor landing page also makes practicing status relevant to the free tier. Ask whether a nonpracticing member, an articled assistant or a company owned by a CA qualifies. Obtain a written explanation of whether the three-year zero-cost license is still available alongside the paid Start-up offer.
A practical way to resolve this is to send the same inquiry to the vendor’s sales contact with the member number, number of GSTINs, offices and required computers. Request the exact active promotional code, edition name, price before and after GST, license validity, next renewal amount, eligible license holder and refund conditions. Keep the response with the invoice. That record is more useful to an auditor or practice manager than a screenshot of two contradictory marketing pages. Do not submit sensitive membership or GST portal credentials by unsecured channels.
SME and Corporate pricing is a separate product track
SPEQTA sells SME and Corporate editions independently of the professional CA ladder. Its SME Premium page states ₹15,000 plus 18% GST, with up to five businesses, return filing, reporting, GSTR-2A reconciliation and an advertised 10,000-invoice reconciliation level. Corporate Platinum is listed as custom pricing plus 18% GST and describes an unlimited-business configuration, vendor return tracking, bulk GSTIN or supplier APIs and a dedicated account manager. A larger company should request the corporate scope rather than treating the cheaper unlimited-GSTIN Professional tier as interchangeable.
The SME renewal page shows ₹7,500 plus 18% GST. It labels corporate renewal as custom pricing plus 18% GST, yet its details also contain a five-GSTIN phrase that conflicts with the unlimited-business message on the new Corporate page. This is another reason to use a signed specification rather than treating all website text as a uniform contract. Before purchasing, define whether business, legal entity and GSTIN mean the same counted object in the plan, and get a written limit for branches, plants, returns and historical periods.
Three defensible cost scenarios
Scenario 1: a standard Professional Gold new license
Suppose a CA office needs the standard Gold functions and does not qualify for an ICAI promotion. The published new-license base is ₹7,500 and the vendor states 18% GST, so the illustrative invoice arithmetic is ₹7,500 + (₹7,500 × 0.18) = ₹8,850. This excludes any additional LAN PC, add-on service, payment fee or installation cost. It also does not establish how many months the entitlement lasts. The number is a simple tax-inclusive illustration of a posted price, not a final checkout or guaranteed invoice.
Scenario 2: a standard Gold renewal
Assuming an eligible existing Gold customer is offered the published Professional renewal amount, the quoted base is ₹4,500 plus 18% GST. That produces ₹4,500 + ₹810 = ₹5,310 for the specific renewal line before any other service. It is not a monthly amount and it is not necessarily the renewal price for a promotional or ICAI member license. The customer must confirm the next expiration date, whether a separate LAN renewal is needed and the scope of support and form updates before using this figure as a recurring budget.
Scenario 3: SME Premium before optional extras
A business buying the published SME Premium line would start from ₹15,000 plus the page’s stated 18% GST. On that narrow assumption, ₹15,000 + ₹2,700 = ₹17,700. The vendor says the edition covers up to five businesses, but the offer should identify whether several state-level GSTINs for one legal entity count separately. This illustration excludes ERP connectors, onboarding, additional operators and any separate e-invoicing service. A company with substantial supplier volumes or API requirements should price Corporate Platinum directly rather than extrapolating from SME Premium.
LAN computers, extra modules and hidden-cost questions
The regular Professional pages list ₹500 plus 18% GST for an additional LAN license, including a renewal entry of the same amount. The ICAI discounted table instead shows a regular ₹1,000 and discounted ₹300 plus GST per additional LAN PC. Further, the CA-facing feature page specifies that additional LAN access is available on Gold and Platinum only. A startup-tier firm cannot safely assume it can add a second preparer for ₹300. Confirm simultaneous use, physical-location requirements, licensing on replacement devices and any network-server restrictions.
An all-in price also depends on the workflow around the core software. The SPEQTA site has separate e-Invoice navigation, so the existence of that product does not establish that it comes free with a Professional GST license. Ask whether e-invoicing, e-way bills, portal API usage, advanced IMS actions, training, data migration, support or remote installation are included. Get vendor responses for the target edition rather than for the overall brand. No reliable public per-invoice overage rate or universal onboarding fee was established in our research, so neither appears as a made-up line item.
Trial, refund, cancellation and payment risk
The vendor refund policy asks customers to use a trial version and learn the functions before ordering, and its pages provide a desktop software download. We did not verify a universal trial duration, whether a credit card is required, whether the trial can submit production returns or whether the conditional CA license is the same software edition as the general trial. Schedule a vendor-led pilot against a representative GSTIN and confirm whether it is nonproduction. A free download does not automatically grant a perpetual production license or multi-GSTIN access.
The official refund policy is restrictive: once purchased, instantly delivered products generally cannot be canceled. It describes exceptions for duplicate or excess debits and failed registration attributable to technical errors, with potential deductions for payment gateway or similar fees. A validated refund may be processed within fourteen working days under its stated conditions. A change of mind, missing anticipated feature or a mismatch between marketing pages is not expressly promised as a refund trigger.
Which plan makes sense for which buyer?
Who should use this
- Practicing CA with up to 20 GSTINs who can document the free offer
- CA firm needing reconciliation across up to 100 GSTINs and a suitable Gold license
- Larger tax practice that needs a confirmed unlimited-GSTIN Platinum entitlement
- SME with up to five businesses and a written service specification
Who should avoid this
- Buyer assuming a permanent free plan without verified eligibility
- Remote team that requires browser-only access or unconfirmed multi-branch licenses
- Organization expecting every e-invoice, IMS or API feature in the lowest tier
- Purchaser unwilling to confirm renewal period, GSTIN counting and refund rules
A forty-GSTIN firm should compare Gold’s function list and actual number of office PCs, not simply choose the lowest published number. An expanding practice with more than one hundred GSTINs can investigate Platinum, while an in-house finance department should compare SME and Corporate because business-counting rules and service needs differ substantially from those of an external tax preparer.
Pros
- Regular new-license and renewal prices are publicly listed
- A conditional ICAI free program could lower cost for qualifying practices
- Gold and Platinum offer documented reconciliation and larger client allowances
- SME and Corporate editions provide a distinct larger-organization track
Cons
- Free CA offer and discounted ICAI prices conflict on official pages
- Billing term and monthly equivalent are not clearly specified
- Silver and Start-up allowances are not interchangeable
- LAN prices and permissions vary by offer
- Refunds are tightly restricted
Compare value, not just license price
The cost of GST compliance is partly the software fee and partly the staff hours needed to clean source files, investigate mismatches, request vendor corrections and prove what was filed. A package with accurate imports and clear exception reports may be worth more than a nominally cheaper one, but that claim must be demonstrated on your own data. Consider MyGSTCafe or Winman GST for CA-oriented workflows and Octa GST, GSTHero or ClearGST where cloud invoice management or broader integration matters. Their pricing units may differ, so a side-by-side rupee figure without matching allowances would be misleading.
For a comparable quotation, ask every vendor to price the same number of GSTINs, operators, entities, invoice volume, reconciliation modules, access locations and data-retention requirements. Include installation, on-site or remote training, first term, renewal term, taxes, add-ons and export support. Require at least one supervised trial of a mixed-error invoice file and one full GSTR-1 to GSTR-3B workflow.
How we checked these prices
Our comparison examined SPEQTA’s public Professional new and renewal pages, SME and Corporate new and renewal pages, the CA free-offer activation instructions, the ICAI Members in Practice Committee discount table and the refund policy on October 30, 2026 UTC. Prices are Indian rupees; the vendor’s regular pages explicitly show 18% GST. We did not complete an ICAI eligibility check, payment or a final checkout. The separate ICAI table says plus GST but does not itself establish the tax rate for every transaction.
